PHANTOM SOLDIER | Focus Chest
This was one of those battle that was more of having fun and fooling around than the focus being on the victory for points towards chest accumulation.
So I threw 3 Taunt ability cards at my opponent for the fun of it. After all there was 99 mana at our disposal so I was in the mood to go big on the mana.
It liked like a good plan to have gone with except that my opponent showed up with more magic monsters than I expected and PHANTOM SOLDIER made the battle tougher for me with the Silence ability.
The plan for me was to attack with magic while I let my Taunt ability cards do their thing with ARKEMIS THE BEAR providing Protection.
I have a level 1 PHANTOM SOLDIER and I have been wanting to get extra copies for an upgrade to level 3.
A Regular Foil of PHANTOM SOLDIER is currently selling for around $6 so it will cost me +$30 for 5 copies that I need for the upgrade.
The Gold Foil is selling for $240 the least and $914 the highest listed for sale.

Should've pick death splinter instead, get Haon and the new Taunt monster from riftwatcher 😂
Unfortunately, Death is my weakest Splinter so I try to avoid using it, though with the newer cards am trying to get my Death deck strong and competitive.

Level 3 looks like a great card and that triple taunt lineup is quite deadly. It hurts your damage though and I tend to think that more damage tends to be better.

It truly did hurt my magic damage, my lineup would have been more deadlier against melee or range.

I feel the same about PHANTOM SOLDIER with Affliction ability.
It will be nice if I can upgrade mine to level 3.
