Here is the link to this battle:
Noxious Fumes can be a great problem for monster without Immunity ability. The low health monster can be quickly killed by these fumes. In order to survive the fumes, I normally consider these options.
- Monster with Immunity.
- High health monster
- Monster with Cleanse ability to support the front line.
Explosive Weaponry can make the battle end faster from its collateral damage to each side of the victim monster. My key to victory in Explosive Weaponry rule
- Use monster with Snipe and Opportunity ability to get a better chance of splashing the collateral damage.
- Use monster with Taunt ability to attract most of the damage to the only spot of the team and put the high health monster to the side of Taunt monster.
Mother Khala LV 3
ABILITIES: All friendly monsters gain an extra 1 health.
Mother Khala was chosen in this battle since I would like to play a magic Life splinter monster team. The reason I wanted to play a Life splinter was to obtain a monster with Cleanse Ability; Herbalist.
Shieldbearer LV 2
ABILITIES: Taunt at level 1; Shield at level 5; Return Fire at level 8
Using the monster with Taunt's ability to attract most of the damage to the only spot of the team can be a key victory in the Explosive Weaponry rule. Shieldbearer was picked as the first tanker due to his high armor and health. With his high health, he can endure most of the damage from the enemy team.
- Shieldbearer comes with 2⚔️ 2🐌 4⚙️ 10❤️
Crystal Jaguar LV 3
ABILITIES: Thorns at level 4; Retaliate at level 9
Here comes our monster of the day, Crystal Jaguar was chosen as a second tanker in order to absorb most of the collateral from Blast ability.
- Crystal Jaguar comes with 1⚔️ 3🐌 1⚙️ 6❤️
Cave Slug LV 3
ABILITIES: Opportunity at level 1; Scavenger at level 6; Slow at level 10
Using monster with Opportunity ability to get a better chance of splashing the collateral damage can be a key victory in the Explosive Weaponry rule. Cave Slug is a great choice to perform a powerful kill on the weakest enemy. Its high damage can splash high collateral damage to the side enemy.
- Cave Slug comes with 3⚔️ 1🐌 0⚙️ 5❤️
Herbalist LV 3
ABILITIES: Cleanse at level 3; Triage at level 8
Monster with Cleanse's ability to support the front line can be a key victory in the Noxious Fumes Rule. Herbalist is a great choice comparing to Silvershiled bard since Herbalist can perform a ranged attack.
- Herbalist comes with 1⚔️1🐌 0⚙️ 3❤️
Truthspeaker LV 2
ABILITIES: Protect at level 1; Cleanse at level 5; Tank Heal at level 8
Truthspeaker is a very defensive monster which provides extra armor for the rest of the team. This shield can absorb collateral damage from Blast ability and prolong our team member life.
- Truthspeaker comes with 0⚔️ 2🐌 0⚙️ 2❤️
The opponent team chose the EARTH splinter with Wizard of Eastwood summoner along with Unicorn Mustang, Beatrix Ironhand, and Mitica Headhunter.
The enemy came with very high damage, therefore Shieldbearer and Crystal Jaguar took heavy damage. At the end of round 1 both of them still survived and stayed strong. Cave Slug did a great job, jumping in the middle of the enemy team and splash damage to every enemy. Herbalist cleaned toxic on Shieldbearer.
After the Noxious Fumes rule performs its task, Beatrix Ironhand was killed.
Unicorn Mustang performed a double kill on Shieldbearer and Crystal Jaguar. Cave Slug stepped in as a first tanker and attacked Unicorn Mustang; its collateral damage took down Mitical Headhunter. Herbalist cleaned toxic on Cave Slug
After the Noxious Fumes rule performs its task, Unicorn Mustang, Herbalist and Truthspeaker were killed.
Only Cave Slug was left on the battle due to Cleanse Ability from Herbalist which secure a victory for the rest of the team.
Questions and Answers:
1. Did my strategy work?
My strategy worked really great as planned. Shieldbearer did a great job as a tanker, it took every incoming attack from the enemy team on the first round. Crystal Jaguar as a second tanker absorbed most of the collateral damage from the enemy team; its high health proved to be very useful for the team. Cave Slug as an assassin of the team performed a great job of sabotage in the middle of the enemy team.
The herbalist did a great job on using his Cleanse Ability two times on Shieldbearer and Cave Slug. Truthspeaker extra shield prolongs our first and second tanker lifer.
2. What will you try differently next time?
For next time, I might consider moving Shieldbearer to the last position of the team and put another great tanker like Silvershield Paladin in the first position to reduce some of the damage to the first tanker which is the hope of the team, since the first tanker will be the only monster which doesn't affect from Noxious Fume rule.
3. Do you like the CRYSTAL JAGUAR? Why or why not?
YES, I like CRYSTAL JAGUAR. CRYSTAL JAGUAR is a great moderate monster; it comes with high heath and some minor armor. Most of the time when I play Life splinter on Little League Rule, CRYSTAL JAGUAR. will always be my first choice as a first tanker. The higher level CRYSTAL JAGUAR comes with a higher attack armor, health and speed. Moreover, LV9 CRYSTAL JAGUAR comes with a Retaliate Ability which can be a huge pain to the enemy melee attacker, since the enemy will first suffer from the thorn damage then it has a chance to be attacked from Retaliate Ability.
