One of the reasons I love Discord so much-- communication purely for the sake of communication. No followers and No likes/upvotes (ok, there are emojis but it's definitely a different culture)-- just pure and simple interaction.
I do appreciate that Hive forces me to up my game and actually produce something of value. The thing I dislike the most about my discord communication is that I can sit around and bullshit all day with plenty of interaction-- on Hive I have to create something worth reading to be read. I like the challenge of it.
