#MyHiveGoals - Time To Crush It & Rebuild!

avatar

de.png

That was some of the roughest 3 weeks of my life...lol

I hate powering down.

It's one of the worst things I experience on the blockchain because I hate going against my 'plan'. The plan was to not touch my stake until 5 years minimum on chain. Well I made it to 4 and a half years lol

Regardless, the benefit was I am able to help my family navigate the gong show that has been this move to the new house. And the best part about Hive is that...I can hustle and earn it all back and then some!

So enough yapping, it's time to get back to work :)

150,000 Hive Power

1.png

That's a dip but look at that slow climb back up :)

Always look at the positives!

150,000 - 105,944.77 = 44,055.23 left to go

My last power down happens in about 20 minutes, and then it's time to grow this account back. I ended up cashing out about 20,000 Hive give or take, which really did help my family.

This blockchain truly does, save lives!

40,000 LEO & 1,000,000 SPT

2.png

The LEO journey is still going strong!

40,000 - 32,084.8 = 7,915.20 left to go

Under 8k left until we hit our next LEO goal :)

3.png

I have a confession...I added a bunch of SPT this week lol

1,000,000 - 832,902.22 = 167,097.80 left to go

Under 200k left to go...And I think after this week, and the end of SPS air drops, SPT will be on a big discount lol

Dollar Cost Average Into Hive Engine Projects

Stacked quite a few of these income tokens this week...

110 INDEX
30 WORKERBEE

And after this week's buys I'm at....

12,140 @he-index
6210 WORKERBEE

Always appreciate when I see some discounts out there for these tokens, and there were plenty this past week.

100 Hive / Day Rewards

Not sure exactly how well I did last week on the creation side of things, but I did have a blast curating some pretty cool content on the blockchain.

36.29 Rewards from Creating
13.47 Rewards from Curating
15 Rewards from Misc.

Total rewards = 64.76 per day

Nice little boost from last week!

We'll see if this can keep up on the 'rebuild mission' lol

Hope you guys have a fantastic week, and thanks for checking in on my journey :)

You are really active, maybe we could say blockchain-active! I am sure you can rebuilt your account.
Go ahead every day!

Did you touch other coins in Engine? I guess you have a good saving over Engine.

Hey life is wild and honestly at some point you gotta cash out a little something otherwise what the heck is the point of it all lol. For me personally I like the transparency. No details are needed but when someone simply states they had to power down they still have my full vote as I understand life is crazy but also at some point you need to cash in. Keep up the good work and super happy to see what you've done with CTP and Listnerds!

Thanks man, yeah just been one thing after another with this new house. Basement flooding, asbestos everywhere....But we're getting it handled, thanks to my ability to power down. Such a blessing.

Despite the power down, your account is still growing and pretty sure, you will keep building day in, day out.

sometimes we just have to do something even when we don't feel like, it's clear that you don't want to power down but the things at hand make you to do it and there's always a possibility for you to earn it back.
All your goals are achievable..

Your power down kind of slowed things down but I am sure in a short time you would get back too. I know this year and recession time in general is making people change their original plans. I suppose such things are meant to happen. How is your BRO and 1UP token holding going on?

I'm letting BRO grow for sure, big fan of everything being built there. I'm concerned about 1UP as they recently split the original team who created it. I'm an original investor in the token too, no idea what's going to happen to the remaining air drops we're supposed to be getting.

No matter how shit it must have felt to take that stake out, the thought that it helped relieve some real-life issues should be enough to not feel bothered. I would never feel bad about powering down for real life anymore. I'm all in building mode now but if I need it, I would not feel bad because real life comes first. I also know that I'd first explore all other options, and that powering down was the last option out there, I'm sure this was the case for you too!

Glad things got sorted!

That was it, I really looked everywhere, even selling some SPlinterlands cards I didn't want to...But alas, I was lucky to have enough to take care of what I needed.

!CTP

yeah that's how you need to look at it!
I once sold all my Splinterlands cards as well, I even had a prince Julian, and another mystery card lol, if only I didn't need cash in real life at the time AND believed what Splinterlands COULD be one day, I had plenty of GFL's as well (prince Julian for example) .. ouch :)

sold for small amounts, before the boom haha.

I try to think of this as "I paid for the experience" lol, and the cashing out of HP and SP at the time is just "at least I HAD an option to get financial relief from & I earned it so, there you go.."

Plenty of people in the world that have no clue how to even get 20 bucks of relief so they can buy gasoline or something.. I consider myself lucky!

We have to do what we have to do. There are times when we have no choice.

That is why cryptocurrency is powerful. It does give people the resources when they need them.

I know that it sucks to have to power down, but if you consider it an "Emergency Fund" then it is there for an emergency like you have experienced.
The far greater financial tragedy would be having to accumulate credit card debt to pay for it.
It is good to have this Hive nest egg. Thanks for introducing me to it.

Yeah that's literally what it's become. And I never need it all lol God willing lol

But it's nice to be able to dip in and then get back to building it up!

So you had to unstake a little early..... I believe you'll have no problem getting it back. Just keep your nose to the grindstone and don't grind none off. LOL!

Hello!!! The same thing happened to me too, I wanted to continue growing my power but I had to make some small investments to be able to continue publishing and grow as a musician, hive has also helped my family and me since I migrated, and it continues to help me but I would like to know how to continue growing in it and continue receiving your help, I hope to know more hehehe greetings

You know, your attitude about this unexpected power down is the greatest thing ever! So far I have avoided ever having to do such a thing, but if life happens I am happy to know it's there, and I am more than elated that all your hard work on Hive was there to draw upon. Plus, you'll stack your HP back up in no time because of that awesome work ethic and vibe of yours.

Thanks for sharing your journey with us all, it really does have a far reaching impact. That and it made me smile this morning which is also mad awesome lol!

Yeah it sucked, but at the same time all the effort I put in over the years allowed me to have this safety net. Now it's time to rebuild it :)

That's awesome that you had enough Hive to be able to power down to help with all the "fun" going on with your move. You will no doubt make it back and then some in not too long a time.
