Resurrect Prevents Poison

So in my latest battle, I played as Chanseus the Great in a "Poisoned" ruleset game.

He has the innate ability to revive one monster after they have died. He revived my Grandma Healer or whatever her name is called. I thought it was pretty clutch so that she could heal my main tank one more time before the poison took her life again... Then the poison came. It hit everyone on both teams except for Grandma. Death must have been a pretty wild experience because she never took poison damage again after that. I'm pretty sure this is a bug and is not an intended feature of Resurrection. It basically won me the game. Here is the link to the said game:
