The Land Expansion: A Game-Changer for Splinterlands
By far, the most anticipated feature in the roadmap is the introduction of Land. This new expansion will add a whole new dimension to Splinterlands, allowing players to own, explore, and develop plots of land in the game world.

Imagine the possibilities: producing resources, crafting items, summoning minions, and more! Plus, with land ownership comes the ability to participate in guild wars, raids, and events, all while earning rewards and bonuses.

Land will be rolled out in several phases. Surveying kicks off on April 10th, giving players the chance to choose their preferred location and biome for their land plots and reserve them with a fee. After a 30-day surveying period, players can claim their plots and start developing them.

Next up, we have the Soul Keep beta release, which lets players access their land plots, view resources and items, and interact with minions. Soulkeep also introduces Soulstones, a new token used for summoning minions and crafting items.

Landowners will receive Soulstones based on their land size and quality.
Finally, the full release of land gameplay, Minotaur's Labyrinth, will unlock all the amazing features and functionalities that Land has to offer, including guild wars, raids, events, quests, achievements, and more.

This phase will also introduce a new type of card called Minions, unique creatures that can be summoned from land plots and used in battles.

With Land, Splinterlands is set to become even more engaging, offering players more depth, diversity, and excitement. Plus, it'll create new opportunities for players to earn rewards and grow their collection.

Other Fantastic Features on the Roadmap
But that's not all, folks! The roadmap is also filled with other features and improvements that'll make the game even more enjoyable:

DEC Batteries: Soon, players will be able to recharge their energy faster using DEC tokens. DEC Batteries will replace potions as the primary method for boosting energy regeneration.

New Cards: Keep an eye out for a new set of cards released in batches throughout the year. These cards will introduce new abilities, rulesets, and mechanics to spice up gameplay.

New UI: Splinterlands is getting a fresh, user-friendly interface with features like limit orders, stop-loss orders, leverage adjustment, and cross-margin trading.

New Partnerships: Exciting collaborations with Wasder.gg, Immutable X, and Bifrost Network will expand Splinterlands' reach and influence while enhancing interoperability and scalability.

All these fantastic updates are sure to attract more users and developers to the platform, making the Splinterlands community even stronger.
