What's your overall take on the new changes?

I've been away for the past week so I haven't had much chance to play around with it. Feels like something major has changed with no more daily quests and chests to open. Takes a bit of excitement out of the game imo.
They're preaching the changes to be for the greater good, to be honest, they shouldn't have taken away daily focus. It's a huge oversight and it's not really gone down well with a lot of people.
