Splinterlands Guild Outing: Home Advantage In Guild Play.

The best part of Guild Play is earning SPS, the number of matches you play does not really determine the SPS you win. The SPS is mostly dependent on the level of Guild you're playing in, or the overall performance of your Guild in a specific Guild outing. But it's always better for me to play more games.

I feel like playing more games helps me to garner more Guild experience.

For example in the last Guild outing, I had a game in which I drew with an opponent, and because they hosted the battle, the maximum point was given to them.

It seemed harsh because we drew the game and I felt the points were supposed to be divided, but I guess this is why we have the host and "visitor* theme to Guild Play, and even if you draw an opponent in a battle, you can be lucky or unlucky if you're the former and latter respectively. Well, my opponent was lucky to have maximum points and that was another experience for me playing the Guild.

This was the first time it was happening, and of course, home advantage counts. "The Soul Ripper* is an exciting Guild which I've joined now, and they've given me the opportunity which I've used to learn the ropes and understand how to participate in the fray. This time around I won 3 games and lost 3, stalemate if you think about it, but there weren't a lot of outrageous losses in this outing by other Guild members as well.

1k Merit, 16 SPS

This time I got just over 1k merit and 16 SPS as well. SPS is currently blowing up, and apart from this, a lot of people are staking and wanting more. I have never sold any SPS and to be very honest I hope and wish I had more. I read a post where a person said that joining a Guild is one of the best ways to earn SPS, and this is mostly true.

I have joined a guild for over 9 months now or thereabout, and it's a fun way to earn SPS no matter how small it may seem.
I also got to buy a Gladius case with my merit. At the moment, I don't know whether I want more merit or more SPS, because merit really helps you to assemble a formidable lineup of Gladius cards which helps you stay competitive and earn more or even keep you abreast and keep your deck growing.

At the moment, I'm getting lesser SPS, but in a week, I buy at least two Gladius cases and this is decent enough, at that rate, and for 9 months, some of my gladius cards are already in level 3

The draws are definitely weird in brawls. It's nice when your guild is the host but otherwise it sucks. I have had it happen to me a few times.

It is painful, especially when you don't deserve to lose though. It's actually the first time it's happening, but I have seen you talk about it in a particular post.

I read a post where a person said that joining a Guild is one of the best ways to earn SPS, and this is mostly true.

Is it possible for one to create spl account, and join the guild to be earning sps without really playing the game?🤦
This is a dumb question but I really want to know big Joe 😃

Good morning bro

You need regular cards to play the Guild, so you'll need to actually buy the cards, then look for a guild that will accept your deck. Playing the guild is a collective thing, so you'll actually need to buy cards even if you don't want to participate in regular play
