(Splinterlands) Outcomes & Reward: Does This affect Productivity?

The Splinterlands' end of the season's reward usually comes with what this acronym H.E.U.C and this would be haste, expectations, Uncertainty and clarity. I was counting down the clock to check to when it was literally 12 minutes to the end of the season and immediately the last seconds trickled, I reloaded the page to check out what I would get and I when I tried to claim, it took long, and eventually I couldn't claim (probably due to the fact that I had claimed too many times without giving the system a breathing space) but at the end of the days, I finally was able to see my season's reward with the help of @Joetunex.

However, even before he told me what happened, I already understood that these things actually happens because of too many people trying to claim their season's reward. That's where the haste actually comes in. Sometimes we naturally experience haste when we're in anticipation and this happens especially when we're trying to compare our efforts with the prospective returns we might get.

When I was working in an organization like that, I was hardly expectant of my salary and this was because it was same old salary without any change. However, extra efforts always earned people extra incentives and even a possibility of increment and this makes one experience, haste to exactly know how much their efforts has yielded.

This is the same haste that's experienced when people are trying to claim the Splinterlands' end of the season reward. It's born out of anticipation, especially when there's a positive form of expectations.

But Do Expectations Have To Be Always Positive?

Definitely,

When we're not expecting a positive outcome, haste is always laid back. Expectations always comes with the degree of skin people puts in the game, (no pun intended). Someone who invests $500 and someone who invests $5000, the expectations is likely to differ. This is the same with effort. Effort is an equity in business, so it can be proportional to monetary value.

With all the money in the world and no effort a business is likely not to grow and vice versa. This is how expectations are often measured. People are tend to be expectant due to the different having different forms of skin in the game. For some people, they dedicate hours of constant gaming to reach a top tier and when they do so, expectations frequently follows.

Uncertainty Would Be The Next

.....Uncertainty is as a result of the fear that comes when the one's confidence in their efforts begin to waver. This majorly happens when people are vested and hoping for better returns even when they have done the necessary things to procure better outcomes. No one is immune to uncertainty and this is because it's relative especially when we cannot control the external forces that might be a deciding factor to what one's expected outcome should be like.

For example, playing in CHAMPIONS LEAGUE doesn't always guarantee you great returns even if your chances are increased, and you've done everything that's necessary. Sometimes one's investments and efforts don't yield the kind of dividends they want and sometimes when a person begin to ruminate on these factors, it brings uncertainty.

A Case For..... Clarity???

Clarity is getting relief from certainty. Sometimes some people check their season's reward, and they're elated, sometimes they're not, but no matter the feeling attained from this profit and loss situation, at the end of the day, we eventually make peace with what we've got and eventually move on.

This is life, clarity is a stage of acceptance. Whether we lose or gain, it doesn't deter the effort we are likely to continue putting. Clarity is the final stage because at this juncture, people have come to terms with what they've gotten and inasmuch as this is likely to influence the degree of effort, it probably shouldn't. So without wasting much time. Here's my end of the season's reward for being in silver III for the first time.

Hivebits blends Hive's blockchain and Bitcoin's ethos. Your effort = your reward. Mine HBIT simply with ! hivebits (no space) or ! HBIT (no space), 1-per-day. Success! You mined .9 HBIT and the user you replied to received .1 HBIT on your behalf. You can receive 100% of the HBIT by replying to one of your own posts or comments. Or, support Hivebits at the official HBIT mine | your wallet | market | tools | connect | <><

Confirmation replies are currently on, but they'll go off when Resource Credits (RCs) get low. Your hivebits command will still go through and you'll get your HBIT.

Epic and a Rare card along with common monsters are fairly okay rewards, above all is how impressive it is of you to land yourself in Silver league III last season. The goal will be to replicate that and work your way up the league which I am confident you are capable of.

Good luck with the new season.

Yeah, I actually think the goal would be to replicate what I've done this season and if it's possible go even farther. The prospect is actually exciting. Thanks a lot to you.

This is why I don't play, it seems so complicated to me.

It's complicated, this I'll say. But it's the era of blockchain gaming on hive, PsyberX and Ragnarok are coming, I think taking time to learn would be rewarding in the long run.

It's all luck. Sometimes you get nice things like a chaos legion pack or a legendary card but most of the time, you don't get anything nice. I think your rewards are fairly decent because you got an epic card.
