I generally anticipated December 8 even if I had only one pack to actually open. However, I wanted to see the general buzz about chaos legion. Prior to now, I only bought one voucher at the rate of $18 which meant I could only buy a pack at that particular time and I didn't have the funds to actually buy DEC to actually earn SPS. However, I never relied on my SPS staking to actually get me vouchers, because I didn't hold enough DEC.

This was a limiting factor because I was trying to build my deck at that time, so it was about either building my deck or buying into these packs, I choose to actually build my deck but at least still bought a single voucher which enabled me to buy just a single pack. A lot of people with decent SPS staking did actually get those vouchers and made a lot of investment into the packs, and Why not? The FOMO alone exactly makes you totally wealthy.

However, I opened my packs and definitely got this. Not that I was expecting a DR BLIGHT, I knew I wasn't qualified for it, but I was secretly hoping that maybe I could beat that odd to get one. However, there's one thing i've discovered about Splinterlands you don't get lucky without actually getting skin in the game, the level of skin which you've put into the game allows you to effortlessly earn and this is why the game obviously remains very relevant.

I discovered this by reading the experience of others who actually opened their packs before me, so many people got really nice cards, within goes as much as $1000, but it wasn't about pure luck, it was the skin they had in the game and my goodness, the benefits paying off are a massive boost to even go in way deeper, I know of someone who recently bought a land, lands are coveted because they're scarce, they play a huge role to the SPS drop as well as futuristic modifications to the game.

However, since I never got a DR BLIGHT, the most expensive in my collection was the IFRIT RISING which was actually worth $42, so I bought the water elemental, then bought the venari wavesmith. I actually saw a cheap DR BLIGHT that went for about $114 and I immediately bought it, but then I looked at how much this would benefit me going forward.

I didn't see much other than the fact that the FOMO would either skyrocket the price or people who got a lot of it when they opened their packs would generally dump them, nevertheless, this might not be the same for the gold version, or probably if it was level 2 or more but even as at that, people would still dump to take that profit, it's majorly the hype that comes with the bubbles.

So, I made about $26 reselling the DR BLIGHT that I got, after I had sold it for $140 from the initial $114 I actually bought it, it was good business for me and then at the same time I bought some DEC with the profit. Overall, I would say it's been decent. I need 10k collection power to unlock bronze one and prior to this I'm happy to be earning DEC playing in bronze II, overtime I plan to earn at least 20 DEC for a day just winning in bronze II.

I can use these earnings overtime to buy More cards while adding little to my investments as time goes on. I didn't expect a lot from the opening of the packs, but I wasn't disappointed either, I knew it was the bargain. I haven't gotten to passively earning with my investment, unless this differs from now having 48k DEC.

Overtime, i'll slowly increase my holdings, i'll still be raring to buy more packs and that is if I can actually get more vouchers to buy more. Overtime, it's been a satisfying experience thus far and the excitement has been good. A lot of people are buzzing with excitement thus far, and it's all about finding the right way to strategize, of course, I will be buying the DR BLIGHT again, but my aim will always be to buy cheaper and selling for even any marginal profit whatsoever.
