Help The Homeless (HTH)

image.png

This coin is a bit more on the extreme end of speculative mining. Luckily it didn't take long to mine a masternode's worth of coins. At current prices a million coins is about $7, so it's really not even worth sending mined coins to an exchange. This is one of those coins you set an alert on, and hope some pump and dump group features it. Kind of a shame really, because their goal is a noble one. They actually went through the trouble of registering as a non-profit and use donations to buy supplies for the homeless. The node doesn't require much in the way of infrastructure, so I'll continue to run one. This has been the polar opposite of my experience with ZEN, FIRO, and FLUX.

Equilibria

I'm about halfway to mining the requisite XEQ for staking. Once that's done I'll go back to mining whatever is most profitable and bee on the lookout for more mineable nodes (ZANO is a possibility). I've been on the lookout for some more GPUs to mine with. Used ones are overpriced, and you can't really get new ones with all of the supply chain problems.

HIVE Reporting

Can someone please create a better HIVE reporting facility? Or perhaps there is one that already exists? I know @holger80 made a Python script a while back to do some of this. What would be really nice is something with a front end that would allow you to export to custom formats. For example, I want to record all payments from @ocdb, @curangel, etc. for delegation payments, so that I can record them in Cointracking. I can generate a CSV file for all HIVE and HBD transactions via the Hive.blog wallet, but it only goes back 60 days and requires a lot of massaging before I can import it into Cointracking. It also doesn't support Hive-Engine tokens (such as Splinterlands, Leo, etc.) which I think is critical. I've also taken to waiting a long time between claiming author and curation rewards because I don't want to clog up my Cointracking with tiny claims. Anyhow, I think there is a legitimate need for some good HIVE/Hive Engine transaction (tax) reporting software. If someone started a DHF proposal for some I would definitely support it and I'm sure others would as well. Perhaps this something the team at @peakd would be willing to take on, or maybe it's already on someone's roadmap.

I have had to use hivesql and linqpad to pull off reports for Hive wallet related activities in the past, there's no time limit on that so can do across the whole of Hive history if needed. Been a lifesaver for tax reporting (which I guess is what you're after)!
