BRAWL REPORT

Well I am excited to share this one because this is the first time I played at Tier1 Fray 13 Silver League with Gold foil restriction and manage to get a perfect score again. Yes, "again" because the last brawl I also managed to get a 100% win rate playing at Fray10 (Silver League - Chaos Only). Although I really did not expect to get this win as much since I have limited gold foil cards in my deck to really compete in this fray. I tried renting a few common and rare monsters to really boost my chance since what I normally owned are just Rewards cards (common to epic) and Chaos Legion (common to rare). I also rented 1 Summoner for each Splinter, not even going for the max level allowed in Silver because of the high rental price as well.

Brawl ends at almost the same time with End of Season so the rental prices are really high, one reason why I don't rent more cards than needed.

I guess LUCK was just on my side, or probably my opponent also has the same issue as mine. One of my match was against a player with 700k collection power. Seeing this player's collection, I already admitted defeat. Lo and behold, I managed to get a win using DELWYN DRAGONSCALE's full magic line-up (see match 6).

In terms of overall guild rankings, we managed to get 2nd place behind BITCOIN & BREWS

POST MATCH ANALYSIS

brawl1.gif

It was a 12 mana cap battle with only even mana monsters are allowed. I opted to go to my favorite 8 mana monsters, Sea Monster!!! At level 4, it has 5 melee damage with 9 HP. It can regen 3 HP per round. Compare with Xenith Monk with only 1 melee damage and 2 HP heal per round, even with Venari Spellsmith, Sea Monster will definitely win this match.

Shout out as well to @shauner for sending me SBT tokens.

Ruleset
Rule#1Holy Protection
All Monsters have the Divine Shield ability.
Rule#2Even Stevens
Only Monsters with even Mana costs may be used in battles.
Abilities
Heal
Restores a portion of the Monster's health each round.

brawl2.gif

For this match, the ruleset is Reverse Speed and Up Close & Personal, in which only melee monsters can be used. Also Monsters with the lowest speed will be effective as well. Mylor Crowling is the best Summoner for this ruleset as it gives Thorns ability to all your Monsters. Thorns return a 2 melee damage when an enemy melee monster attacks our monsters. Monsters with Shield and Demoralized is also the best abilities to have in this ruleset. Shield ability reduces the damage from melee or ranged attacks while Demoralized reduces the melee damage of all enemy monsters by 1. Mycelic Infantry (Shield) with Disintegrator (Demoralized) almost neutralized the melee damage from opponent.

For this one, the Summoner is what makes the difference since we almost had the same line-up.

Ruleset
Rule#1Reverse Speed
Monsters with the lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks.
Rule#2Up Close & Personal
Only Monsters with Melee attack may be used in battles.
Abilities
Thorns
When hit with a Melee attack, does (2 melee) damage back to the attacker.
Shield
Reduced damage from Melee and Ranged attacks.
Demoralize
Reduces the Melee attack of all enemy Monsters.

brawl3.gif

I opted to use Mylor Crowling as my Summoner because of the Thorns ability it provides to all monsters. I partnered Mycelic Infantry with two healers Goblin Psychic and Wood Nymph. As much as possible, I tried to balance my attacks with melee, magic and ranged attacks.

Ruleset
Rule#1Weak Magic
Magic attacks hit Armor before reducing Health.
Rule#2Close Range
Ranged attacks may be used in the first position in battles.
Abilities
Thorns
When hit with a Melee attack, does (2 melee) damage back to the attacker.
Tank Heal
Restores a portion of the Monster in the first position's health each round.
Shield
Reduced damage from Melee and Ranged attacks.

brawl4.gif

In a Poison ruleset, there are must have abilities in order to sustain or counter the effects of Poison. The most important is the Cleanse ability becuase it can removes the Poison effect tp the first position monster. Another abilities that are crucial are the healing abilities like Heal (heal the monster itself), Tank Heal (heal the first position monster) and Triage (Heal the backline monster with the most damage received). Both of us uses Sea Monster because it has a Heal ability while using Rivernymph for the Cleanse ability. Meanwhile, I also used Angelic Mandarin because it has the Triage ability. Another monster that somehow help me survive the initial melee attacks from the enemy is Venari Wavesmith because of its Protect ability that gives Armor to all our monsters.

Ruleset
Rule#1Silenced Summoners
Summoners do not give any stat buffs or debuffs or grant/use any abilities.
Rule#2Noxious Fumes
All Monsters start the battle Poisoned.
Abilities
Heal
Restores a portion of the Monster's health each round.
Cleanse
Restores a portion of the Monster in the first position's health each round.
Triage
Heals the friendly back-line Monster that has taken the most damage.

brawl5.gif

In this match, Summoner's buff were removed so we would only rely on the abilities of Monsters. But aside from the Thorns and Tank Heal abilities, the other thing that helps me win this match was by evading attacks from enemy monsters due to the high speed Venari Knifer had.

It was one of my hardest match I had in this brawl. I was up against someone with 700k collection power. I already had a peek on his card collection before starting the match and airbornedoc had a lot of gold foil cards. And with all Splinters being available, it only means there's a lot of possibities and card combinations.

Luckily, I managed to survived using an all-out magic attack with Delwyn Dragonscale as the Summoner. I don't have Magic dragon monster to pair with so I go with Water Splinter.

Ruleset
Rule#1Rise of the Commons
Only Common and Rare Monsters may be used in battles.
Abilities
Tank Heal
Restores a portion of the Monster in the first position's health each round.
Protect
All friendly Monsters gain +2 Armor.

Summoners I rented for this Brawl (Gold Foil)
  1. Mylor Crowling - Lvl3 GF
  2. Delwyn Dragonscale - Lvl4 GF
  3. Kelya Frendul - Lvl4 GF
  4. Tarsa - Lvl4 GF
  5. Thaddius Brood - Lvl2 GF
  6. General Sloan - Lvl2 GF

As you can see, I only had 1 Summoner for each Splinter and some of them are low levels. This is the reason why I chose Mylor Crowling and Kelya Frendul most of the time. I also chose Delwyn Dragonscale for the Dragon Summoner so I can use a Magic line-up with any Splinter combination.

End of Season Rewards

Of course, I will also show you the rewards I got in the last End of Season rewards opening. (This is also the reason why I limited my rents since the prices are very high).

Screenshot (675).png

I got a CLP as a reward. And without thinking twice, I opened the same CLP and got a
gold foil Xenith Monk and a legendary card Iza the Fanged woohoo!!!!

This is the end of my Brawl and End of Season report.

If you want to know more about the game, you can visit Splinterlands website at https://splinterlands.com?ref=jpleron

Splinterlands is a digital, collectible card game built on blockchain technology. It is similar in concept to games like Magic the Gathering and Hearthstone where you build up a collection of cards, which all have various different stats and abilities, and use them to battle other players in skill-based matches. By using blockchain technology, players can buy, sell, and trade their digital assets freely just as if they were physical cards, and all transactions are recorded publicly and immutably.

Use my referral link to register and I will give you some cards to help you start your own Splinterland journey.

5 years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, Police and our Government has done nothing. Just like they did with the Havana Syndrome, nothing. Patriot Act my ass. The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation. I bet we can get to the sources of V2K and RNM then. https://peakd.com/gangstalking/@acousticpulses/electronic-terrorism-and-gaslighting--if-you-downvote-this-post-you-are-part-of-the-problem

Thanks for the mention and congrats on going undefeated in the GF only fray! I actually started renting Sea Monster after our battle and I've been experimenting with it by pairing a tank heal card with it. That combo makes it quite difficult to beat, just have to watch your backdoor for sneak attacks trying to take out the tank healer.
