Splinterlands Social Media Challenge! | BERTROL GOBSON

Hi hive and splinterlands i decided to create a fanart of BERTROL GOBSON for this week's social media challenge!Somehow he reminded me of goblins from Tensura or That time I got reincarnated as a slime.

ART PROCESS

Materials Used : Clip Studio Paint and XP PEN Artist 12.

• Start by drawing messy lines, I like to try Gobson to carry the axe in a weird or cool way.

• Clean Lineart,I also change the total look of his armor or clothes also I made him look a bit more animeish like asian taste of cartoon.
  

• Base colors, I tried to stay close to the original color or from the reference as much as possible and just color-picked all from the Gobson.
  

• Shading process , since I tried to sketch an anime version I wouldn't render much the shadings
  

• Highlighting gobson ...
  

• Adding a background of a footings made of grass and soil at gobson's feet.
  

• Rendering Gobson and also drawing a splinterlands background for the finishing touch.
