I am planning on making a series of blogs regarding my personal picks or advice on how to strengthen your deck when you are on a budget. This blog will be purely based on my experiences and skills as a Duelist of many card games I have played (Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon TCG, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Duel Masters, Splinterlands, and many more). I will be picking cards that you will add to your free cards to assure you of at least Silver III up to Gold III. And such cards, that may have an increased value in the future.

My goal is to help my fellow Splinterists, especially those who are on a budget, to decide on what card to purchase to bring up their ranks for at least Silver III up to Gold III. But that does not mean that the players who are only renting cards won't gain in my blog series, they would learn how to properly play such cards and win battles with those. I hope that my tips can somehow lift up the interest of the newbies especially when they are having more wins than losses.

On buying cards, just like the physical cards such as (Magic the Gathering, Pokemon TCG, Yu-Gi-Oh!, etc.), Splinterlands NFT Cards' value also appreciates over time. This would be a good investment especially when you are planning on playing the game for a long period of time. I have at least doubled the value of my card investments for about 3 seasons I have played. But still, this is not a financial advice.

Splinterlands NFT Cards also has limited prints or copies. Every limited edition item in the real world has value comparable to how few copies of such items are available. This is also true on NFTs, being non-fungible as the name implies, they cannot be replaced and has limited quantity revolving around the world of digital assets. This brings value to the cards since they have a limited supply.
✅ "Meta" Cards
Each time new cards are released and new combos are made, the "meta" adapts considerably. The value of Meta cards appreciates as the hype of the new combos and their respective counters increases.
✅ Popularity
Lots of Splinterlands streamers are actually bringing up the values of cards by continually using such cards and become popular to their audience. Streamers actually help their viewers on how to play well and how to use the cards properly. So, let's support Splinterlands streamers!
