Splinterlands art contest 251: Abyss (Fan Art)

Greetings my people! A hug to all, today I bring you my participation for Splinterlands art contest 251, this time I chose the Abyss card (Fan Art), where we see him in the ocean depths, I endow him with a staff with giant snail pincers as a weapon to summon sea monsters that will be at his service. Below I share the process of this illustration. I hope you like it.

¡Saludos mi gente! Un abrazo a todos, hoy les traigo mi participación para Splinterlands art contest 251, esta vez elegí la carta de Abyss (Fan Art), donde le vemos en las profundidades oceánicas, le dote de un báculo con pinzas de caracol gigante como arma para invocar a monstruos marinos que se pondrán a su servicio. A continuación les comparto el proceso de esta ilustración Espero que les guste.
PROCESO / PROCESS
Paso 1 (Boceto y Line arte) / Step 1 (Sketch and Line art)
Lo primero que hice fue dibujar un boceto de abyss, luego delinee todo con la herramienta pluma y modifique el trazo con la herramienta anchura, para tener listo el line art. Para este trabajo estoy haciendo uso de adobe illustrator.
The first thing I did was draw a sketch of the abyss, then I outlined everything with the pen tool and modified the stroke with the width tool, to have the line art ready. For this work I am using adobe illustrator.
Paso 2 (Color) / Step 2 (Colour)
Empecé por aplicar un color base a abyss en azules y verde para la piel y cola de pez. Luego empecé a trabajar degradados en el cuerpo, las sombras y luces para crear más volumen, y para finalizar un fondo marino con rocas y algas, y como detalle partículas de luces suspendidas a su alrededor. Espero que les guste.
I started by applying a base color to the abyss in blues and green for the skin and fish tail. Then I started to work gradients on the body, the shadows and lights to create more volume, and to finish a seabed with rocks and algae, and as a detail light particles suspended around it. Hope you like.
