Hello friends
First of all I want to welcome you to my blog. Sharing another week in the Splinterlands contest in its 276th edition. On this occasion I am pleased to share with you the impressive fan art of Dragon Whelp, a work full of a lot of creativity and color with an abstract and colorful background friends; where he combined retro cartoon style with splashes of an abstract background. This Dragon Whelp fan art was made in Adobe Illustrator. Hope you like.

¡Hola amigos!
Ante todo quiero darles la bienvenida a mi blog. Compartiendo una semana más en el concurso de splinterlands en su edición número 276. En esta ocasión me complace el compartirles el impresionante fan art de Dragon Whelp, un trabajo lleno de mucha creatividad y colorido con un fondo abstracto y colorido amigos; donde he combinado el estilo retro de caricatura con salpicaduras de un fondo abstracto. Este fan art de Dragon Whelp, lo he realizado en adobe illustrator. Espero que les guste.
PROCESO / PROCESS
Paso 1 (Boceto y Line arte) / Step 1 (Sketch and Line art)
Lo primero que hice fue dibujar un boceto de Dragon Whelp, después empecé por delinear a Dragon Whelp; después cree una matriz de punto y aplique una máscara de recorte con una silueta de nuestro dragón para tener listo mi line art!.
The first thing I did was draw a sketch of Dragon Whelp, then I started by outlining Dragon Whelp; Then create a dot matrix and apply a clipping mask with a silhouette of our dragon to have my line art ready!
Paso 2 (Color) / Step 2 (Colour)
Los colores a que use para este trabajo fueron naranja-amarillo para las pezuñas y verdes para la piel.
The colors I used for this work were orange-yellow for the hooves and green for the skin.
Sombras/ Shades:
Después añadí sombras a cada una de las partes según la distribución de la misma a fin de darle volumen a Dragon Whelp.
Then I added shadows to each of the parts according to their distribution in order to give Undead Dragon Whelp.
Luces/ Lights:
Al igual que las sombras las luces juegan un papel fundamental para realzar el volumen de Dragon Whelp
Like shadows, lights play a fundamental role in enhancing the volume of Dragon Whelp.
Detalles/ Details:
Como detalle para este fan art quise colocar manchas en la cara alrededor delos ojos y un fondo degradado abstracto de colores azules y verdes con machetas de círculos y lineas.
As a detail for this fan art I wanted to place spots on the face around the eyes and an abstract gradient background of blue and green colors with circles and lines.
