Weekly Battle with Goblin Psychic

I love playing with the Earth Splinter and therefore this weekly challenge is something that got me excited. Goblin Psychic is one of the best players in that lineup. For 6 mana, one gets a monster that not only does 2 magic attack damage to the monster at the front of the opponent's lineup but also heals the monster at the front of our team. This could easily have been an Epic card but well, it is a common card after all.

I already have a level 2 card of Goblin Psychic and I can't wait to get to higher levels. Here is a battle I want to share with Goblin Psychic demonstrating its abilities -

Splinterlands Battle with Goblin Psychic

You can also watch the video of the battle here -

The game had the following to rules -

  1. All monsters start the battle poisoned.
  2. Monsters with the lowest speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks.

The second point makes the Earth Splinter a great choice because all magic attack monster cards I have are 1 speed and with the Obsidian summoner, one can enhance their damage to 2x. Armour is of no use against the magic attack. My lineup for the battle was -

Summoner - Obsidian

  1. Mycelic Infantry - Has the Shield ability and hence reduced damage from Melee and Ranged attacks. I have the Goblin Psychic to restore its health from a Magic attack.
  2. Khmer Princess - Mostly a filler card in this battle to do 2 magic attack damage to the monster in front. It would have lasted one round because of the poison rule.
  3. Spirit Hoarder (Legendary) - Restores its own health and that of the monsters on the back
  4. Goblin Psychic - explained earlier
  5. Queen Mycelia (Legendary) - Adds 2 armor to all monsters, ensuring the longevity of monster with more than 2 health
  6. Venari Seedsmith - Added this monster for its scavenge ability which works well in poison battles

The above combination was useful because all of the above monsters are 1-speed monsters. Moreover, I had enough healing ability from Spirit Hoarder and Goblin Psychic to survive 2 or 3 rounds. That is more than enough for a low mana poison battle.

Here are the results at the end of each round -

The people doing V2K want me to believe it is this lady @battleaxe Investigate what she has been up to for 5 years. Its the next step to stopping this. Make her prove where she has been for 5 years or where she is now. She is involved deeply with @fyrstikken and his group. I cant say she is the one directly doing the v2k. Make her prove it. They have tried to kill me and are still trying to kill me. I bet nobody does anything at all. Make @battleaxe prove it. I bet she wont. They want me to believe the v2k in me is being broadcasted from her location. @battleaxe what is your location? https://ecency.com/fyrstikken/@fairandbalanced/i-am-the-only-motherfucker-on-the-internet-pointing-to-a-direct-source-for-voice-to-skull-electronic-terrorism

How to level up a card? Is there such a thing or do you just buy a new card? 🤔 Just joined today and still haven't checked on it much.

You level up a card by combining multiple cards of the same type. If you go to any card, and look at its stats, then you'll see how many cards are needed for each level and what changes come with each level. You will also need higher level summoners to play with higher level monsters.
