Random thoughts during weekend walks on gifts, gaming and everything else

I was on my way to get a present for a friend. A third baby has arrived over there and I had no idea what to bring as a gift since they most likely are already good in the amount of baby stuff.

I decided to get something easy and just fun, but mostly locally made here by the mentally challenged residents. That is the cool thing what is done. There is a foundation here where a lot of physically and mentally challenged people live. As some hobbies for throughout the day they make stuff. And actually nice stuff. Stuff that is nice enough to give to a friend, and also take in consideration that this helps the foundation.

I love the concept.





Passing towards the little gift shop it is easiest to walk through the woods to reach there. There I passed this fantastic hilarious shroom that immediately reminder me of Super Mario for some reason. Or was I triggered because of some articles popping by about old Nintendo products are worth a lot more these days and that its worth looking through the old collection.

Nevertheless, this one really looks like it had some small dudes living in there if you let the brain drift off for a little bit.

Speaking of gaming...

The word across town is that Splinterlands land will be coming out next week. Since I still had some Splex rentals going on to power up my DEC stack for the use of land, I cancelled all of them so I have a decent choice on what to do with staking my cards.

I went on reading in the Splinterlands FAQ about land and I have a pretty decent idea now on what I have to do to get my grain production going. I have 1 nice little neutral plot of land in de Caldera region with a totem and a building-in-a-box. So as I had understood because of my building I will not need to get DEC batteries, but I do need to get DEC staked on my cards.

Quix the devious will be the number one staked card and I will see what I can set next to him. I am not entirely sure what I need to do to 'clear' the land with the Time Crystals if I need them or not, but I will find out by then when all of this happens later on in the week.

It is interesting to see though that the price of DEC has not made any sharp movements even though this will be needed for everything. It does make me wonder.....

Finally it is a lovely autumn day and that means it is time for a step outside. I will be taking the drone for a bit to see if the skills are still there. I might be needing it a bit more soon, it is time for a decent practise run again.

And crypto? Yeah....I love it that the markets are moving again over the last couple of weeks again. Time to do a bit of refreshing again for a bit to see what all happened in the markets. The movement is defintely bringing the fun back again in everything. Even though it might not lead to anything at all, it feels like there is perspective again regardless of how long it will last.
