CREATING A STORY
We are following a very important growth moment in Splinterlands, both in terms of gameplay and systems, and in terms of marketing.
Months ago a partnership with the band Imagine Dragons was announced and it has finally started! Have you ever imagined the members of an interdimensional band inhabiting these lands?
The sun was shining brightly on that summer morning. The sprawling grassy fields moved at a feeble pace with the little wind that tried to ease the heat.
A small farm could be seen in this area. In it the farmer was crouched, milking a cow so he could prepare breakfast for his children.
As he did so, a huge shadow covered the sky for an instant, followed by a huge gale that felt his straw hat flying far away. He looked up, startled, trying to understand what had happened. His animals looked even more worried as they all began to struggle, neigh and growl. It looked like something big in the sky.
Dragons are very rare creatures to be seen, common people even consider them just legends that are told to tease the mind. But those who have seen a dragon up close are fully aware that they are very real and extremely dangerous.
Most living beings avoid the dragons' path lest they be burned by them, but some more courageous and obstinate individuals from the opposite: they seek dragons, trying to become their ally!
With the exception of some of the most powerful summoners known in Splinterlands , most summoners don't have enough power to control dragons, but there is a pack that wants to achieve that power, they named themselves as Imagine Dragons .
The four individuals that make up this pack were not born in Splinterlands. They sailed across dimensions in search of a place where dragons existed, and years after starting this journey they finally managed to reach that place.
Now their objective is different, they need to find and interact with these dragons, and that will be an extremely challenging objective considering the difficult temperament of most dragons.
For the four of them, this is nothing more than a setback, and they are hell-bent on forging true bonds with the dragons in any way they can. And so they begin their expedition, wandering the Praetoria lands in search of any trace of these mythical beings.
An old farmer mentioned that he saw something strange flying over his farm, and this information gave them a direction to go, heading east of the plains.
His walk lasted for days. The once flat terrain was becoming mountainous. Along the way, they found other tracks that indicated that there was really something in that direction.
As they climbed the mountain, the group spotted a huge cave that seemed to go through the bowels of the mountain, and that could have been a dragon's shelter. This possibility made the four of them very excited, making them quicken their pace towards that cave.
The rocky walls stretched farther into the mountain. The sound echoed strongly through that large corridor that had a bluish lighting that seemed to be natural but at the same time it wasn't.
The four advanced cautiously as they felt they were finally approaching their goal after years and years of wandering through dimensions in search of validating the name Imagine Dragons .
