SPLINTERLANDS SHARE YOUR BATTLE WEEKLY CHALLENGE! (ft. Supply Runner)
How is it going, folks? @kaylerfaye here and I hope this blog finds you well. Today's blog will be an entry to the "Share Your Battle Weekly Challenge!" ft. Supply Runner brought to us by @splinterlands. I will showcase some of my battles wherein he made an impact, utilizing his ability in the Diamond League so why don't we dive right in.
Countless confrontations have been recorded in the history books of these hired hands coming to the aid of convoys beset by bandits or roaming patrols attacked by the enemy. They have swarmed the foe, firing their shot down upon them and running havoc amongst their ranks with their incredible speed. Most of these forays have ended with the enemy fleeing, but those that did remain and the fight didn’t last for long.
BATTLES BREAKDOWN
Supply Runner is one of the new Neutral Cards that was added along with the release of Chaos Legion Edition. At level 1 this card provides a decent value despite being a 6-mana card because of his innate 3 Speed and 2 Range attack right off the bat. But this card's true potential only begins when you unlocked the Swiftness ability at level 5.
I was not confident to win this because of Mylor Crowling's Thorn + Amplify combo. He also controlled the battle by taunting all my damage to his Mycelic Slipspawn which made it harder to spread my damage. But despite the odds, Supply Runner was surely the MVP of this battle. His Swiftness ability together with Kelya Frendul's Speed buff made him so fast that my opponent's Sand Worm can't land a hit which kept my backline monsters alive allowing them to slowly mow down my opponent's monsters. Looking at my opponent's last 5 battle histories, I noticed that he likes to spam Water Deck with a combination of Magic and Range attacks. One thing more to note is that he often uses Coral Wraith (that has Sneak Ability) and Mantaoid (that has Snipe Ability). So I decided to bet on Dodge Chances here placing Chaos Agent at the last position to protect me from the Sneak attacks and then placed Riftwing at the 2nd position to soak up the damage from Snipe and hopefully deal Backfire damage. For this gamble to work I needed to be fast to increase my dodge chances. That's where Supply Runner's Swiftness ability together with Lira The Dark helped a lot. Watch how Chaos Agent evaded a deadly blow at (R)Round 1/ (T)Turn 18 and how Mantoid almost killed itself because of Backfire Damage starting at R2/T12. In an Explosive Weaponry Ruleset, if you want to go on a more offensive setup, one of your win conditions is that you should be fast to deal damage ahead of your opponent potentially killing a monster or two before they can do anything. That's when Supply Runner's Swiftness ability becomes instrumental, and you can double down on that buff with Lira The Dark like in IMO, Supply Runner is a must-have Neutral Card if you're playing on Silver League and above. With the Modern Format fast approaching, if you're planning to build your collection for that format, just to let you know, Supply Runner is the only card that can provide you with the Swiftness ability in Silver League. His being a neutral card makes him very flexible for all splinters too. Also, you don't even have to max him out to be effective, as early as level 5 you can already put this card to good use. Increase the speed of all friendly monsters by 1. The effects of multiple Swiftness abilities are stackable.

BATTLE #003BATTLE #002 above to give you a Speed steroid. Plus in this match Spreading Fury Ruleset is in play giving all monsters the Enrage Ability. This ability increases the monster's Melee attack and Speed when their HP is damaged, the stats value is then multiplied by 1.5 and rounded up. Look how fast my Silent Sha-vi gets at the end of Round 1, and Lira The Dark at R3/T4.
