It is hard to be on the Hive blockchain and not have heard of Splinterlands. My understanding is that it is a card game where you can battle with your opponents with the cards of your choice. I am not much of a gaming person, but I do remember playing a similar card game with my siblings but the difference is that the cards were of the WWE players. It was a good way to pass time for me and end of the game it was all that it was – a game.

One of the reasons that I even played Splinterlands is because I did not have to create a separate login. I could use my hive username to play. And that was it. I played a few battles, but I must admit I lost them all. Unless I can count that one battle where the opponent gave up.

I have not bought any cards or any packs or rented any cards or packs, or I don’t know much of any of the cards, or even anything else I should know about. It is not about the winning but it is very calming to play for a couple of minutes when I take a break from work.

For the next couple of weeks, as I see it, I will continue playing just because I enjoy it. I might just win a couple of battles. Who knows. But for now, I’m having fun waging battles, failing and still loving it.

Thank you for reading.
