A being of shifting shadows and flickering starlight, she watches over the boundary between realms, ensuring that the creatures of darkness never spill into the world unchecked.

The Looming Rift
For centuries, Nyx has held her post, her twin blades—Dusk and Dawn—serving as the keys to balance. But now, something stirs. A fracture in the boundary has appeared, and from within, a force older than time whispers of a forgotten hunger. The Veilborn, spectral beings of pure void, claw at the edges of reality, seeking entry.

A Call to Arms
Realizing she cannot stand alone, Nyx sends forth a summons to the champions of the Splinterlands. Warriors, mages, and rogues alike gather at the edge of the Expanse, ready to aid in sealing the rift before it engulfs the land.
