I agree, those who stick around during difficult times are the ones who will reap the most when the game becomes bigger than it is today. I've been reading old messages in the server just to see the general sentiment back then, there were a lot of people who doubted and there were a lot more who stayed. Those who stayed are purple names now, that just shows how much they trust the game that they're willing to invest both their time and money in it. The best thing about it all is the community that the game has built, everyone helping one another and creating bonds along the way. We may all be apart but we are all connected in one game that we all enjoy. Nice post btw!
