Who Am I?

Hello Everyone! I'm Andrei, a Filipino who just got into the world of cryptocurrency 3 months ago. I am an Accountant currently studying to become a Lawyer someday. It is my dream to be able to entice my family and friends into the world of crypto while providing them with a competent financial and legal advice regarding the complexities of crypto. My hobbies include reading books, writing stories, swimming and gaming.

Splinterlands - My First Crypto Experience

The first person who persuaded me to try play-to-earn games is one of my online friends in another MMORPG game that I used to play. He told me that he's quitting because he got a scholarship from another play-to-earn game. After a few days of research, I remembered my college buddy who keeps on posting crypto-related advice and services. When I approached him, he told me that I should try this game which only costs $10 to start earning.

This brings us to Splinterlands. Needless to say, my first $10 investment has now multiplied and I am now heavily invested into this game. I believe that this game is a pioneer of a whole new world of gaming - or what we usually call as "NFT Games." Someday when I make it, I will definitely thank my friends who helped introduce me into this journey and to everyone who has become a part of it!

Plans for the Future

As you can see from my banner logo, I am planning to make more posts relating to Splinterlands. I will focus more on making newbie-friendly guides where they could use my posts as a "one-stop-shop" for all their questions as a new player into the game. Furthermore, I am also planning to make Splinterlore related content since I like to read and write my own stories based on games that I love to play. I was exposed to the lore mainly due to the giveaway held by SketchyGamerGuy in his discord. I hope you guys would always be there with me in this journey!

Thanks kabayan! I'll surely be checking out those games since the current bearish market is driving prices down to the floor, making it easier for newer players to get started. I've been lurking in the discord server and I've realized that there were a lot of Filipinos active on Hive as well!

Ah ou medyo madami tayo sa Hive na nag ba blog pero less interaction lang. Mababait naman ang mga tao sa server sobrang busy lang sa ibang project since sobrang diverse talaga ni Hive. Daming pwedeng i explore.

Onga po eh, kung di ako nabigyan ng link baka di ko mahanap yung hiveph server. Buti nalang gumawa ako ng introductory post. Iprpromote ko yung server sa mga pinoy na naglalaro rin ng Splinterlands na balak magsimulang magblog, sayang din kasi yung opportunity.

If only I had the time to grind the leaderboards maybe it would be possible. But right now, I've changed my rented cards. I started prioritizing cards that I would actually use instead of renting cards for power. I'm working hard to increase my winrate after grinding casually without caring about it since I started and taking notes for renowned LB players like Hyde and Kira. I've also joined my first tournament! It's still ongoing, but I'm taking notes and steadily making progress. Hope to see you in game :D
