Splinterlands - Chaos Legion Airdrop - Dr. Blighted?!? Get Excited!

Hey guys, kevanko70 here and I'm real pumped about the Chaos Legion Dr. Blight release.

And no I'm not talking about the Dr. Blight with the tuft of white hair covering the turd smear on her face...

Sidenote: if you haven't seent the funny or die series with Don Cheadle as Captain America, that alone is worth worth a watch~

I'm talking about what may be the dopest card added to the world of Splinterlands... Doctor Blight

For those of you that don't know what the Dr. Blight deal is, it's looking like it's going to be a pretty dope 4 mana neutral monster, which I assuming with be OP and a must have for any players in the diamond and champion leagues.

Every pre-release purchase of a chaos legion pack has a 2% chance of getting the airdrop.
Every 50 packs will get you a card
1000 packs gets you a gold foil Version.

Taking a look at the stats, there's nothing too crazy... just a middle of the road slow magic monster... but take a look at the abilities / buffs...

I'm drooling...

There's two rulesets where I really see him making an immediate impact and a must have for any serious Splinterlands Players;

First off, we're looking at an automatic ringer for every Little League Ruleset (I call it babies...)

Scavenger, Affliction, weaken and poison in a Little league matchup? You kidding?!? He's unreal!
I think adding a full level Dr. to my deck with immediately turn this ruleset deck weakness into an absolute murder racket. Right now the babies ruleset seems to be the weak point in my collection and I tend to get my ass handed to me in these regularly... Well, hopefully that won't be the case once the doctor is in~

Secondly, he'd be a dope addition to any Death Splinter Slow magic assault in Reverse Speed (I call it snail...)

And third, he'd be a great addition to any team in the Equalizer(Hearts Up) Ruleset. Scavenger or lifesteal in this ruleset can wreak serious havoc... image.png

The one downside about using him in the Reverse Speed rule-set is that he has Slow, which in that case will actually adjust all your opponent's monsters to be 1 faster.

Good point, but there are some exceptions that are still worth it in reverse speed, ie Ruler of the Seas in a water lineup or flame monkey where their other mana points, and abilities outweigh the speed loss
