ich werde mal wieder die Struktur dieses Reports ein wenig ändern. Ich werde mich hauptsächlich auf mein Portfolio und Splinterlands konzentrieren.
Die News zu den anderen Games verarbeite ich in einem separaten Post. Ich hoffe, auf diese Weise, in den kommenden Monaten das Update etwas früher rauszubringen und gleichzeitig, die Artikel etwas besser auf die jeweilige Leserschaft zuzuschneiden. Nicht jeder hat Lust auf all diese Infos.

Dear Readers,
I will change the structure of this report a little bit. I will mainly focus on my portfolio and Splinterlands.
The news about the other games will be published in a separate post. This way I hope to get the update out a bit earlier in the coming months and at the same time to tailor the articles a bit better to the respective readership. Not everyone is up for all this info.

Kheldars Hive-Portfolio 31.05.2023
Bei den meisten Positionen nehme ich den Marktwert von der Hive-Engine, oder dem Marktplatz, auf dem die Assets gehandelt werden.
Gerade bei Werten, die mir aber deutlich überhöht vorkommen, nehme ich Abschläge vor. Das ist hier z.B. bei den Muterra Positionen der Fall.
Auch wenn ich nur noch Positionen ab 10 $ aufführe, wird die Liste gefühlt immer länger. Mittelfristig muss ich mir da mal was überlegen.
Für die "Monks" unter uns. Bitte nicht wundern, wenn die Summe nicht ganz aufgeht.

Fazit
Der Mai war der wohl schlimmste Monat in meiner bisherigen Hive Karriere. Nicht nur ist der Hive Preis gesunken, was generell mit negativen Folgen für sämtliche Assets einhergeht. Zusätzlich hat sich der Verfall des SPS und der Kartenpreise weiter fortgesetzt.
Aus meiner Sicht ist das eine Folge der angekündigten Vorgaben zu staked SPS. Viele verkaufen nun ihre Max Level Karten oder wollen sie gegen Gold Liga Niveau tauschen. Auch scheint es so, dass einige Spieler nun gänzlich mit Splinterlands abgeschlossen haben.
Das Burn Event Ende des Monats hat dem DEC einen leichten Zuwachs auf Monatsbasis ermöglicht. Der Dank der generellen Diskussion rund um Kryptos aber nicht von langer Dauer sein wird.
An der Menge der verbrannten SPS im Burnevent kann man aber gut sehen, dass es noch einige Spieler und große Gilden gibt, die auch bereit sind größere Summen ins Spiel zu investieren und wenn die ein oder andere Änderung umgesetzt ist, könnte das Spiel auch wieder attraktiver für neue Spieler werden.
Aber nicht nur Splinterlands Assets haben stark verloren. Die Assets sämtlicher Spiele, in die ich investiere, sind auf dem Rückzug. Muterra, WOO, Psyberx, alles inzwischen deutlich günstiger zu haben.
Bis auf wenige WOO Alpha Packs habe ich keine Verkäufe getätigt. Die Mittel die ich davon erhalten habe, habe ich in Splinterlands reinvestiert.
Diesen Monat habe ich kein Fiat eingezahlt. Ab Juni werden es wieder die gewohnten 250 € pro Monat sein, wovon mindestens 200 HBD gekauft und in die Savings gelegt werden.
Conclusion
May was probably the worst month in my Hive career so far. Not only did the Hive price drop, which generally comes with negative consequences for all assets. In addition, the decline of the SPS and card prices has continued.
From my point of view, this is a consequence of the announced guidelines on staked SPS. Many are now selling their max level cards or want to trade them for gold league level. It also seems that some players are now completely done with Splinterlands.
The Burn event at the end of the month gave the DEC a slight increase on a monthly basis. However, thanks to the general discussion around cryptos, this will not last long.
The amount of burned SPS in the burn event shows that there are still some players and large guilds that are willing to invest larger sums in the game and if one or the other change is implemented, the game could also become more attractive for new players again.
But not only Splinterland's assets have lost a lot. The assets of all the games I invest in are on the decline. Muterra, WOO, Psyberx, all now available at much lower prices.
Except for a few WOO Alpha Packs, I have not made any sales. The funds I got from them I reinvested in Splinterlands.
This month I did not deposit any fiat. From June it will be the usual 250 € per month again, of which at least 200 HBD will be bought and put into the Savings.
Splinterlands
Der Mai hat relativ wenige Auswirkung auf meine Art zu spielen gehabt.
Mein Mainaccount mit dem CL und Riftwatchers Deck schwankt weiterhin zwischen Diamond 1 und Champion 1. Dabei miete ich mir für die Brawls immer noch die wichtigsten Modern Karten dazu. Das sind dann auch die Zeiten, in denen ich im Ranking größere Sprünge machen kann.
Mein Zweitaccount spielt zwischen Silber 1 und Gold 1 ein Spiel pro Stunde. Hier habe ich im Mai überhaupt nicht zugemietet, da ich mit dem Account keine Brawls gespielt habe. Sollte ich hier Brawls spielen und mieten, würde ich versuchen die Battle Energy besser zu steuern.
Seit der Bekanntgabe, dass in Zukunft die Anzahl der gestakten SPS Einfluss auf die Rewards haben werden, die ich im Ranked Play erhalten kann, habe ich keine SPS mehr verkauft und stake täglich meine liquiden SPS.
Das sieht man zum Teil schon am Wachstum meiner SPS im Mai. Im Juni dürfte das dann noch etwas höher ausfallen.
Splinterlands
May has had relatively little effect on the way I play.
My main account with the CL and Riftwatchers deck continues to fluctuate between Diamond 1 and Champion 1, and I still rent the most important Modern cards for the Brawls. Those are also the times when I can make bigger jumps in the ranking.
My second account plays one game per hour between Silver 1 and Gold 1. Here I have not rented at all in May, because I have not played Brawls with the account. If I were to play Brawls here and rent, I would try to control the Battle Energy better.
Since the announcement that in the future the number of staked SPS will influence the rewards I can get in Ranked Play, I haven't sold any SPS and staked my liquid SPS daily.
You can already see some of this in the growth of my SPS in May. In June, this should then be a little higher.
Deck Entwicklung
Auch wenn ich im Mai kein Geld eingezahlt habe und die SPS ab Mitte des Monats nicht mehr in DEC getauscht wurden, konnte ich einige Karten kaufen.
Hautpsächlich habe ich im Mai den Fire Splinter ausgebaut, aber auch die ein oder andere Death Karte wurde gemaxxt.
Es fehlt nicht mehr viel zum Max CL Deck und da Rebellion nun auf frühestens Q4 eher Q1 2024 verschoben wurde, ist noch genug Zeit um CL und die wichtigsten RW Karten zu maxxen.
Deck Development
Even though I didn't deposit any money in May and the SPS were no longer exchanged for DEC from the middle of the month, I was able to buy some cards.
Mainly I have expanded the Fire Splinter in May, but also the one or other Death card was maxed.
There is not much left to max CL deck and since Rebellion is now postponed to Q4 rather Q1 2024 at the earliest, there is still enough time to max CL and the most important RW cards.

Bewertung
Die SPS Rewards gingen erneut zurück. Auch hier war der Mai ein eher schwacher Monat. Die SPS aus den Pools und dem Staking gingen leicht zurück.
Die SPS aus den Battles stiegen dagegen deutlich an. In den Chests fand ich leider weniger SPS. Da ich im Mai meine Lizenz verkauft und neu gekauft habe, um die Verluste aus dem Kauf steuerlich realisierbar zu machen, war die Lizenz auch einige Tage nicht im Spiel und hat somit weniger SPS und Voucher generiert.
Bei den Karten und Potions läuft es dagegen rund. Ich konnte zwar bisher noch keine Karte maxxern, bin bei einigen aber kurz davor und die wichtigsten habe ich im Main auch bereits nahe Gold Liga Niveau.
Wie in Saison 22 angedeutet, haben sich die Rewards des Zweitaccounts in Saison 23 und 24 stabilisiert. Deutlicher weniger SPS aber wieder mehr Karten, Potions und ähnliches.
Mein Mietkosten sind gesunken. Meine Mieteinnahmen jedoch auch. Im ganzen Monat Mai habe ich nur 2.234 DEC durch Vermietung von Karten eingenommen.
Da ich auch keine SPS mehr gegen DEC, muss ich nun auf anderen Wegen an meine DEC für meine Mieten und Saisonbeiträge kommen.
Gott sei Dank gibt es da WOO, Terracore und Golem Overlord, sowie Serfdom and Sorcery. Die (Teil-)Verkäufe aus diesen Spielen nutze ich um DEC für Splinterlands zu erhalten.
Dabei spare ich immer so viele DEC an, dass ich die Mieten und den nächsten Saisonbeitrag finanzieren kann. Wenn ich mehr DEC als das habe, kaufe ich davon Karten. Damit geht der Ausbau langsamer, aber ich kann meine SPS schneller aufbauen, die ich später dringend brauchen werde.
In Zukunft bringt mir ein dickes Deck nichts, wenn ich nicht genügend SPS habe.
Wenn alle so denken würden wie ich, müsste es mit Splinterlands eigentlich Berg auf gehen. Es tun aber wohl nicht alle.
Schauen wir mal in 2-3 Monaten, wie es dann aussieht.
Conclusion
SPS Rewards declined again. Here, too, May was a rather weak month. The SPS from the Pools and Staking decreased slightly.
The SPS from the Battles, on the other hand, increased significantly. Unfortunately, I found less SPS in the Chests. Since I sold my license in May and bought a new one to make the losses from the purchase taxable, the license was also not in the game for a few days and thus generated less SPS and vouchers.
With the cards and potions, on the other hand, it runs smoothly. I haven't been able to max out any cards yet, but I'm close to it with some of them and the most important ones are already close to Gold League level in the main.
As indicated in season 22, the rewards of the second account have stabilized in season 23 and 24. Significantly less SPS but again more cards, potions and the like.
My rental costs have decreased. But so did my rental income. In the whole month of May I only earned 2.234 DEC by renting cards.
Since I also no longer trade SPS against DEC, I now have to come up with other ways to get my DEC for my rentals and season dues.
Thank goodness for WOO, Terracore, and Golem Overlord, as well as Serfdom and Sorcery. I use the (partial) sales from these games to get DEC for Splinterlands.
In doing so, I always save up enough DEC to fund the rentals and the next season's dues. If I have more DEC than that, I buy cards from it. This makes the expansion go slower, but I can build up my SPS faster, which I will desperately need later.
In the future, a thick deck won't do me any good if I don't have enough SPS.
If everyone thought like I do, Splinterlands should be going uphill. But I guess not everybody does.
Let's see in 2-3 months how it looks then.
