Kheldars Hive-Portfolio 31.08.2023
Bei den meisten Positionen nehme ich den Marktwert von der Hive-Engine, oder dem Marktplatz, auf dem die Assets gehandelt werden.
Gerade bei Werten, die mir aber deutlich überhöht vorkommen, nehme ich Abschläge vor. Das ist hier z.B. bei den Muterra Positionen der Fall.
Auch wenn ich nur noch Positionen ab 10 $ aufführe, wird die Liste gefühlt immer länger. Mittelfristig muss ich mir da mal was überlegen.
Für die "Monks" unter uns. Bitte nicht wundern, wenn die Summe nicht ganz aufgeht.

Fazit
Nachdem der Juli ein ziemlich guter Monat war, hat der Minicrash im August mein Portfolio ordentlich in Mitleidenschaft gezogen. Trotz einer Einzahlung von 1.000 € sinkt mein Portfoliowert.
Das notwendige Staking der SPS hat im Juli tatsächlich dazu geführt, dass weniger SPS verkauft wurden, und somit der Preis stieg. Ende August steht SPS aber wieder auf dem gleichen Stand wie Ende Juni. Ich habe aber inzwischen 11.000 SPS mehr und die 50.000 geknackt.
Sämtliche Splinterlandswerte sind gefallen, allen voran die Karten. Wobei die guten Riftwatcherskarten weiterhin sehr teuer sind im Vergleich zu Chaos Legion.
Die einzigen Assets die signifikant im Preis gestiegen sind, sind die MALDIVES Packs von Muterra und der XBOT Token. Beides sind aber keine großen Positionen.
Bei WOO habe ich nahezu ein komplettes Set gekauft und ca. 1.000 $ hineininvestiert. Aufgrund des engen Marktes sind die Preise der Karten inzwischen gestiegen. Die Webseite zeigt mir leider nicht genau an, wie viel die Karten "wert" sind, also habe ich einen ungefähren Wert überschlagen. Das sollte passen.
Darüber hinaus habe ich versucht meine WOO Städte zu bewerten. Mit 3 mal 8 Sternen und einigen 6 und 7 Sternen kam mir 600 $ ganz ok vor. Meine ungeöffneten WOOPARTSUN sind dagegen im Preis komplett eingebrochen. Für 20 $ gekauft, werden sie inzwischen für unter 6 $ gehandelt.
Aber auch der niedrigere Hive Preis tut sein übriges, um mir die Laune zu versalzen. Mit nur noch 0,274 $ pro Hive sind sowohl meine 2.500 HP als auch meine Astra deutlich weniger wert.
Alles in allem ein Verlust im August von ca. 1.200 $. Da muss der September sich ganz schön reinknien, um das auszugleichen.
Conclusion
After July was a pretty good month, the minicrash in August took a toll on my portfolio. Despite a deposit of €1,000, my portfolio value is falling.
The necessary staking of SPS actually led to fewer SPS being sold in July, and thus the price rose. At the end of August, however, SPS is back at the same level as at the end of June. However, I now have 11,000 more SPS and have cracked the 50,000 mark.
All Splinterland values have fallen, especially the cards. The good Riftwatchers cards are still very expensive compared to Chaos Legion.
The only assets that have increased significantly in price are the MALDIVES packs from Muterra and the XBOT token. However, neither of these are large items.
In WOO, I bought almost a complete set and invested about $1,000 in it. Due to the tight market, the prices of the cards have gone up in the meantime. Unfortunately, the website doesn't show me exactly how much the cards are "worth", so I estimated an approximate value. That should fit.
In addition, I have tried to rate my WOO cities. With 3 times 8 stars and some 6 and 7 stars, $600 seemed okay to me. My unopened WOOPARTSUN, on the other hand, have completely collapsed in price. Bought for $20, they are now trading for under $6.
But the lower hive price also does its bit to put me in a bad mood. At only $0.274 per hive, both my 2,500 HP and my Astra are worth considerably less.
All in all, a loss of about $1,200 in August. September will have to really dig in to make up for that.
Splinterlands
Im August habe ich weiter daran gefeilt, in welchen Ligen meine beiden Accounts am Besten spielen, und wieviel SPS ich den beiden Accounts zuordne.
Schauen wir uns zuerst den Zweitaccount an. Der Account hat CL und RW Karten zwischen Bronze und Silber Max zur Verfügung. Gerade bei den legendären Karten gibt es aber Lücken.
Damit käme der Account dennoch bis nach Gold. Das würde aber zu viele Abzüge bei den R-Shares aufgrund Karten mit zu geringem Level geben. Darüber hinaus, reichen auch die SPS nicht dafür aus.
Ich habe irgendwann im August die Delegation der SPS dieses Accounts an den Hauptaccount beendet, so dass etwa 3.750 SPS zur Verfügung standen. Das reicht für Silber 1. Die SPS, die dabei rumkommen sind lächerlich, aber zumindest gibt es ein paar Kisten pro Tag und Saison.
Der Hauptaccount spielt wie im Vormonat auch zwischen Diamond 3 und Diamond 1 in Wild. Nach Champion aufzusteigen lohnt nicht. Wenn ich Abends Zeit habe, spiele ich gerne Modern von Hand. Hier könnte ich ebenfalls nach Diamond aufsteigen, bleibe aber in Gold 1. Hier gibt es pro Sieg mehr SPS als in Diamond 1 Wild.
Zusätzlich zu meinem wachsenden Stake an SPS miete ich mir inzwischen 50.000 SPS für 0,004 DEC pro SPS pro Tag. Die Kosten werden ungefähr durch die zusätzlichen SPS gedeckt. Die extra Kisten sind Gewinn.
Sollten die Battlehelper in Zukunft verboten werden, und sich die Spieler auch dran halten, könnte ich mir vorstellen, auch nochmals nach Champion aufzusteigen und ein paar weitere SPS zu mieten.
Splinterlands
In August, I continued to fine-tune which leagues my two accounts play best in, and how much SPS I assign to the two accounts.
Let's look at the second account first. The account has CL and RW cards between Bronze and Silver Max available. But there are gaps, especially in the legendary cards.
It would still get the account to Gold. However, this would result in too many deductions in the R-shares due to cards with too low a level. Moreover, the SPS are not enough for that either.
Sometime in August, I stopped delegating the SPS of this account to the main account, so that about 3,750 SPS were available. That's enough for Silver 1. The SPS that come around are ridiculous, but at least there are a few chests per day and per season.
As in the previous month, the main account also plays between Diamond 3 and Diamond 1 in Wild. Upgrading to Champion is not worth it. When I have time in the evening, I like to play Modern by hand. Here I could also move up to Diamond, but I stay in Gold 1, where I get more SPS per win than in Diamond 1 Wild.
In addition to my growing stake in SPS, I now rent myself 50,000 SPS for 0.004 DEC per SPS per day. The cost is roughly covered by the extra SPS. The extra boxes are profit.
Should the Battlehelper be banned in the future, and the players stick to it, I could imagine moving up to Champion again and renting a few more SPS.
Deck Entwicklung
Karten habe ich im August nur sehr vereinzelt gekauft, wenn überhaupt. Für den September plane ich aber wieder mehr bei CL und RW zuzukaufen.
Dafür habe ich mir meine ersten Land Plots zugelegt.

Instead, I bought my first land plots.
Land in Sicht
Mit der Aussicht, dass Land 1.5 irgendwann dieses Jahr noch erscheinen wird, habe ich mich damit beschäftigt, und Anfang September ein kleineres Investment getätigt.
Dabei geht es mir weniger darum, groß Research oder SPS zu farmen, sondern eher am Anfang Grain zu produzieren, und dieses dann gegen DEC zu verkaufen.
Auf diese Weise hoffe ich, passiv genügend DEC zu farmen, um meine Rentals für die Brawls gegenzufinanzieren.
Vielleicht packe ich auch Teile des Grain zusammen mit ein paar DEC in den Liquidity Pool, sobald dieser eingeführt wird.
Neben meinem Hauptaccount habe ich nur wenig Monster, die überhaupt auf Land arbeiten können. Ich besitze auch nur einen Runi. Ich werde also nicht sonderlich viele PP mit meinem 3 Plots, die ich mir gekauft habe erzeugen können. Insgesamt am Anfang vielleicht 30.000 - 40.000 PP.
Um möglichst viele verschiedene Splinter optimal einsetzen, und später auch verschiedene Ressourcen erzeugen zu können, habe ich mir eine Ebene, einen Berg und einen See in Region 81, die nur den Legendary Dragons gehört, gekauft.
Vielleicht kann ich im September Update, schon mehr dazu sagen. Bisher bringen die 3 Plots nur ca. 4 SPS pro Tag als Airdrop.
Land in sight
With the prospect of Land 1.5 coming out sometime this year, I've been looking into it, and made a small investment at the beginning of September.
I am less interested in farming large amounts of research or SPS, but rather in producing grain at the beginning and then selling it for DEC.
In this way I hope to passively farm enough DEC to finance my rentals for the brawls.
I may also put some of the Grain into the Liquidity Pool along with some DEC once it is introduced.
Besides my main account, I have very few monsters that can work on land at all. I also only own one Runi. So I won't be able to generate very much PP with my 3 plots I bought. Maybe 30,000 - 40,000 PP in total at the beginning.
In order to be able to use as many different Splinters as possible, and later also to be able to generate different resources, I bought a plain, a mountain and a lake in Region 81, which only belongs to the Legendary Dragons.
Maybe I can say more about this in the September update. So far, the 3 plots only bring about 4 SPS per day as an airdrop.

Bewertung
Die zusätzlichen SPS aus dem Rental haben sich gerade in Saison 30 ausgezahlt. Die SPS aus Battles haben um 50 % zugelegt. Auch bei den Merits und Packs gibt es deutlich mehr. Das Mieten der SPS werde ich bis auf weiteres beibehalten.
Der größte Zuwachs kommt aber durch die 3 Tier 5 Brawls, die wir im August gespielt haben. Einen haben wir ja sogar gewonnen.
Um noch mehr aus meinen Karten und den Mieten für die Brawls rauszuholen, müsste ich eigentlich noch Turniere spielen. Dafür fehlt mir derzeit aber einfach die Zeit.
So langsam habe ich aber wieder Lust mehr zu spielen. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich die Turnierlandschafts ohne Battle Helper entwickelt. Wobei es wahrscheinlich illusorisch ist, anzunehmen, dass alle Gegner tatsächlich auf ihre Helferlein verzichten werden. Zu wünschen wäre es.
Conclusion
The additional SPS from the rental have just paid off in season 30. The SPS from battles have increased by 50 %. The merits and packs have also increased significantly. I will continue to rent SPS until further notice.
But the biggest increase comes from the 3 Tier 5 Brawls we played in August. We even won one of them.
To get even more out of my cards and the rent for the brawls, I would actually have to play tournaments. But I just don't have the time for that at the moment.
But slowly I feel like playing more again. I'm curious to see how the tournament landscape develops without Battle Helper. It's probably illusory to assume that all opponents will actually do without their helpers. It would be desirable.
Letzte Worte
Der Juli scheint wohl erstmal nur ein Strohfeuer gewesen zu sein. Im August gibt mein Portfolio die Gewinne wieder nahezu komplett ab.
Gleichzeitig entwickelt sich mein Splinterlands Portfolio gut. Meine SPS steigen an und ich habe meine ersten Plots gekauft.
Damit bereite ich mich weiter auf die kommenden Änderungen vor. Einige denken, SPL ist am Ende. Ich bin der Meinung, es ist erst der Anfang.
Nach Land, steht auch noch Soulkeep (Tower Defense) in den Startlöchern. Neue Spielmodi wie z.B. Draft könnten SPL ebenfalls neues Leben einhauchen.
Wir brauchen noch ein wenig Geduld.

Final words
July seems to have been a flash in the pan for now. In August, my portfolio gives up almost all of its gains.
At the same time, my Splinterlands portfolio is developing well. My SPS are increasing and I have bought my first plots.
With this, I continue to prepare for the coming changes. Some think SPL is finished. I think it is only the beginning.
After Land, Soulkeep (Tower Defence) is also in the starting blocks. New game modes like Draft could also breathe new life into SPL.
We still need a little patience.
