Intro
Die Road to Praetoria wird in Zukunft alle meine Splinterlands Posts enthalten.
Einmal im Quartal kommt das Portfolio Update. Dazwischen werde ich immer mal wieder Updates geben, wenn aus meiner Sicht ein Meilenstein erreicht wurde, oder etwas neues bei Splinterlands passiert.
Apropos Meilensteine. Neben dem Portfolio Update geht es in diesem Artikel auch um meine Ziele in Splinterlands für 2024.

The portfolio update will come once a quarter. In between I will give updates whenever I think a milestone has been reached or something new happens in Splinterlands.
Speaking of milestones. In addition to the portfolio update, this article is also about my goals in Splinterlands for 2024.

Bei den meisten Positionen nehme ich den Marktwert von der Hive-Engine, oder dem Marktplatz, auf dem die Assets gehandelt werden.
Gerade bei Werten, die mir aber deutlich überhöht vorkommen, nehme ich Abschläge vor. Das ist hier z.B. bei den Muterra Positionen der Fall.
Auch wenn ich nur noch Positionen ab 10 $ aufführe, wird die Liste gefühlt immer länger. Mittelfristig muss ich mir da mal was überlegen.
Für die "Monks" unter uns. Bitte nicht wundern, wenn die Summe nicht ganz aufgeht.

Especially for values that seem to me to be significantly inflated, I take markdowns. This is the case here, for example, with the Muterra positions.

Fazit
Der Dezember setzt dort fort, wo der November aufhörte. Es gab eine schöne Jahresendralley, die sich vor allem in den Splinterlands Assets abzeichnet.
SPS legt über 60 % zu. Damit einher geht auch ein Preisanstieg bei der Licence. Ich öffnete meine 1.178 Rebellion Packs und verbrauchte dabei ca. die Hälfte meiner Potions. Dennoch steigt mein Portfoliowert, da die Rebellionkarten derzeit sehr preisstabil sind.
Nachdem ich nun 2 volle Jahre auf Hive und bei Splinterlands aktiv bin, macht es Sinn mal einen Vergleich gegen das Vorjahr anzuschauen. Diese Zahlen sind einfach unglaublich.
SPS Preislich + 60 % also lagen wir im November 2023 noch unter dem Wert von Dezember 2022. Absolut aber ein Wertzuwachs von 584,26 %. Da sieht man was passiert, wenn man Coins günstig zukaufen kann, und dann ein anstieg erfolgt. Die SPS, die ich Anfang 2022 noch zu über 0,20 $ gekauft habe, sind zwar weiterhin im Minus, aber mein Schnitt dürfte eher bei 2-3 Cent liegen.
Auch schön die Verdreifachung des Werts meines Hive / HP und HBD. Mein Engagement in Pools habe ich nochmals verstärkt und inzwischen ist auch der HIQS:INK Pool oberhalb von 10 $ und wird mit aufgeführt.
Der Swap.Hive:Voucher Pool könnte noch stärker gefüllt sein, aber ich halte ca. 900 Voucher bereit um 18 Battlewagons für die Conflicts von Rebellion zu kaufen.
Zusammenfassend kann man sagen, dass ich dieses Jahr über 8.000 € in meinen Hive Account eingezahlt und davon diverse Assets in Spielen gekauft habe. Allen voran Splinterlands, aber auch @wrestorgonline und @astralwars.
Rückblickend war es ein gutes Jahr, auch wenn ich im 2. Quartal dachte, dieser Bärenmarkt hört nie mehr auf. Jetzt scheint sich alles zu fangen. Hoffen wir, dass es so weitergeht.
Conclusion
December continues where November left off. There was a nice year-end rally, which is particularly evident in the Splinterlands assets.
SPS gains over 60 %. This is also accompanied by a rise in licence prices. I opened my 1,178 Rebellion Packs and used up about half of my potions. Nevertheless, my portfolio value is increasing, as Rebellion cards are currently very stable in price.
Now that I've been active on Hive and Splinterlands for 2 full years, it makes sense to look at a comparison with the previous year. These figures are simply unbelievable.
SPS price + 60 % so in November 2023 we were still below the value of December 2022, but in absolute terms an increase in value of 584.26 %. You can see what happens when you can buy coins cheaply and then the price rises. The SPS that I bought at over $0.20 at the beginning of 2022 are still in the red, but my average is more likely to be around 2-3 cents.
I also like the tripling of the value of my Hive / HP and HBD. I have increased my exposure to pools again and the HIQS:INK pool is now also above $10 and is included in the list.
The Swap.Hive:Voucher pool could be filled even more, but I have about 900 vouchers ready to buy 18 Battlewagons for the Rebellion Conflicts.
To summarise, I paid over €8,000 into my Hive account this year and used it to buy various assets in games. First and foremost Splinterlands, but also @wrestorgonline and @astralwars.
Looking back, it was a good year, even if I thought in the 2nd quarter that this bear market would never end. Now everything seems to be coming together. Let's hope it continues like this.

Bewertung
Das letzte Mal, dass ich über 5.000 SPS in einem Monat erspielt habe, war im August. Da haben wir allerdings T5 Brawls gespielt.
Jetzt kommen die SPS aus höheren Battle Rewards und etwas Glück in den Truhen. Dies kommt aus meiner Sicht aus zwei Gründen.
Erstens habe ich inzwischen mehr SPS, da ich mir unter anderem auch welche gekauft habe.
Zweitens spiele ich nun auch in Modern wieder in der Diamond Liga und Spiele generell mehr Modern aufgrund der Einführung von Rebellion und dem Wegfall von Untamed. Es macht wieder mehr Spaß und das zahlt sich am Ende aus.
Weiterhin bemerkenswert ist, dass ich nun für die Brawls keine Karten mehr mieten muss. Ich besitze nahezu ein komplettes Modern Gold Level Deck.
Zusätzlich habe ich meine überschüssigen Rebellionkarten vermietet und so ein paar Einnahmen erzeugt. Einige meiner Gildenkollegen, haben alle ihre Rebellionkarten vermietet solange die Conflicts noch nicht beginnen. Das war lukrativ und hätte ich eventuell auch machen sollen, um einen Teil der Kosten wieder reinzubekommen. Splexx sagt mir, ich hätte etwa 9.000 DEC pro Tag bekommen können.
Davon könnte man die ein oder andere Karte zügig auf Max bringen, aber mir war es wichtig aus dem vollen schöpfen zu können und mich möglichst schnell mit dem neuen Meta vertraut zu machen.
Rating
The last time I earned over 5,000 SPS in a month was in August. We played T5 Brawls then, though.
Now the SPS come from higher Battle Rewards and some luck in the chests. In my opinion, there are two reasons for this.
Firstly, I now have more SPS because I've bought some, among other things.
Secondly, I'm now playing in the Diamond League again in Modern and generally playing more Modern due to the introduction of Rebellion and the removal of Untamed. It's more fun again and that pays off in the end.
Another remarkable thing is that I no longer have to rent cards for brawls. I have almost a complete Modern Gold level deck.
In addition, I have rented out my surplus Rebellion cards and thus generated some income. Some of my guild mates have all rented out their Rebellion cards until the Conflicts start. That was lucrative and maybe I should have done it to recoup some of the costs. Splexx tells me I could have got about 9,000 DEC per day.
You could quickly max out one or two cards from that, but it was important to me to be able to draw on the full potential and familiarise myself with the new meta as quickly as possible.
Meine Ziele in Splinterlands
Wie ich schon in meinem HPUD Post geschrieben habe, bin ich kein Freund von Jahreszielen mehr.
Ich finde es wichtiger sich zeitunabhängig ambitionierte Ziele zu setzen und diese in kleinere Meilensteine runter zu brechen, die dann möglichst schnell erledigt werden.
Schauen wir mal, wie mein Ziel für Splinterlands aussieht, und mit welchen Maßnahmen ich dieses erreichen will.
"Ich will Mittelfristig wieder Ranked in der Champion Liga auf Splinterlands spielen und meine Gilde in Brawls mit einem Modern Max Deck verstärken, und so helfen Tier 5 zu spielen".
Um dieses Ziel zu erreichen benötige ich hauptsächlich zwei Komponenten:
- Ein Modern Deck mit Max Karten (CL, RW & RB).
- Genügend staked SPS, um auf Champion noch Rewards zu erhalten. 200.000 SPS sollten ausreichen.
Das geht natürlich nicht von heute auf morgen und muss auch irgendwie finanziert werden, daher sind dies meine nächsten Meilensteine:
My goals in Splinterlands
As I wrote in my HPUD post, I'm no longer a fan of annual goals.
I think it's more important to set ambitious goals that are independent of time and to break them down into smaller milestones that are then completed as quickly as possible.
Let's see what my goal for Splinterlands looks like and what measures I want to take to achieve it.
"In the medium term, I want to play ranked again in the Champion League on Splinterlands and strengthen my guild in Brawls with a Modern Max deck to help us play Tier 5".
To achieve this goal I need two main components:
- a Modern deck with Max cards (CL, RW & RB).
- enough staked SPS to still get rewards on Champion. 200,000 SPS should be enough.
Of course, this won't happen overnight and has to be financed somehow, so these are my next milestones:
Staked SPS auf 100.000 erhöhen
Ich besitze auf dem Mainaccount derzeit 71.500 staked SPS. Damit bin ich weit von den notwendigen 200.000 SPS entfernt.
Die fehlenden SPS Miete ich mir hinzu. Derzeit sind das ca. 75.000 SPS, da ich in Diamond mit 150.000 SPS auskomme. Je nach meinem Fortschritt im Ranked kann diese Zahl erhöht, oder wenn ich schneller SPS aufbaue, als mein Deck und meine Skills verbessere, auich reduziert werden.
Pro Monat kommen ca. 4.000 - 5.000 SPS dazu. Das entspricht meinen Rewards abzüglich der Delegation für Brawl Abgaben bzw. Nutzung von XBOT und Archmage in Wild, wenn ich mal keine Zeit habe zu spielen.
Zusätzlich zu den Rewards plane ich von den 200 $ die ich jeden Monat in meinen Hive Account einzahle 50 $ in SPS zu investieren. Beim derzeitigen Kurs weitere 1.500 SPS pro Monat.
Somit sollte ich spätestens im Sommer die 100.000 SPS erreicht haben. Dann sehen wir weiter.
Increase staked SPS to 100,000
I currently have 71,500 staked SPS on my main account. This is a long way from the 200,000 SPS I need.
I rent the missing SPS. I currently rent around 75,000 SPS, as I can manage with 150,000 SPS in Diamond. Depending on my progress in Ranked, this figure can be increased, or reduced if I build up SPS faster than my deck and my skills.
I add around 4,000 - 5,000 SPS per month. That's my rewards minus the delegation for Brawl submissions or using XBOT and Archmage in Wild when I don't have time to play.
In addition to the rewards, I plan to invest $50 of the $200 I pay into my Hive account each month in SPS. At the current exchange rate, that's another 1,500 SPS per month.
So I should have reached 100,000 SPS by the summer at the latest. Then we'll see what happens.
Deck Entwicklung
Chaos Legion habe ich bis auf wenige Ausnahmen auf Max Level. An Beschwörern ist nur Astral Entity noch auf L3, aber der wird nur selten gespielt. Laut Splintercards brauche ich noch 76 $ um CL zu maxxen.
Rift Watcher ist eine bunte Mischung. Die Karten die ich viel Spiele habe ich mindestens auf Gold Niveau. Einige wie Agor, Lurker, Florre Ash Mirage, Queen of Crows und Co. habe ich auf Max. Die Karten, die ich eher selten spiele zwischen Silber und Gold. Laut Splintercards benötige ich noch 2.100 $ um Riftwatchers zu maxxen.
Rebellion habe ich nahezu komplett auf Gold Niveau. Wenige selten gespielte Karten sind zwischen Silber und Gold. Karten wie Daarg, Argarux Magus und Avarisdeus sind Max deutlich besser, daher habe ich diese priorisiert und auf Max. Laut Splintercards benötige ich noch 3.100 $ um Rebellion zu maxxen.
Insgesamt würde ich mich ein Max Deck also noch ca. 5.300 $ kosten.
Somit werde ich meine Sammlung nur Stück für Stück weiter ausbauen können. Dabei werde ich mich hauptsächlich darauf konzentrieren, meine Rebellionkarten zu maxxen. Fokus liegt dabei auf den starken Karten aber vor allem auch auf den viel genutzten Summonern, da diese ansonsten auch meine Max Level CL oder RW Karten auf Gold Level begrenzen. Akane habe ich nun bereits auf Max gebracht.
Mit den ca. 50 $, die ich hier pro Monat zuschießen möchte, werde ich nicht sonderlich schnell voran kommen. Daher werden auch die Einnahmen aus der Vermietung sowie aus meinen Land Plots hier beitragen müssen.
Fürs erste möchte ich Dolfar und Prunda auf Max Level bringen. Da Prunda als GF günstiger war, als als RF habe ich sie derzeit auf L8 GF. Beide zusammen dürften mich ca. 150 $ kosten.
Deck development
With a few exceptions, I have Chaos Legion at max level. The only summoner still at L3 is Astral Entity, but I rarely play him. According to Splintercards I still need 76 $ to max CL.
Rift Watcher is a colourful mix. The cards I play a lot I have at least at Gold level. Some like Agor, Lurker, Florre Ash Mirage, Queen of Crows and Co. I have on Max. The cards I rarely play are between Silver and Gold. According to Splintercards, I still need $2,100 to max out Riftwatchers.
I have Rebellion almost completely at gold level. Few rarely played cards are between silver and gold. Cards like Daarg, Argarux Magus and Avarisdeus are much better at max, so I've prioritised them and maxed them. According to Splintercards, I still need $3,100 to max Rebellion.
In total, a max deck would still cost me around $5,300.
So I will only be able to expand my collection bit by bit. I will mainly concentrate on maxing my Rebellion cards. The focus will be on the strong cards, but above all on the much-used summoners, as these will otherwise also limit my max level CL or RW cards to gold level. I've already maxed out Akane.
I won't be able to make much progress with the $50 or so that I want to contribute per month. Therefore, the income from renting and from my land plots will also have to contribute here.
For now, I want to bring Dolfar and Prunda up to max level. Since Prunda was cheaper as GF than as RF, I currently have her at L8 GF. Both together should cost me about $150.
Mein Land
Ich besitze derzeit 7 natural Land Plots. Davon sind 5 common und 2 rare. Alle in Region 81, der Heimat der @legendarydragons.
Mein rare natural bog ist mit meinen besten Karten und einem Runi bestückt und produziert aufgrund des geringen Getreidepreise derzeit Research. Die restlichen 6 Plots produzieren Getreide.
Pro Tag produziere ich einen Überschuss von ca. 5.500 Getreide.
Diese würde ich gerne gegen DEC tauschen, um so einige wenige DEC für den Ausbau meines Decks zu erhalten. Preise von 0.03 - 0.04 DEC pro Getreide ist mir aber zu wenig. Ich hoffe, dass die Preise wieder steigen werden, wenn Land 2.0 kommt.
Fürs erste werde ich meinen Getreideüberschuss wohl halten, und nur bei guten Gelegenheiten verkaufen. Wenn die LPs eingeführt werden, werde ich mich voraussichtlich daran beteiligen, um so passiv an den Gebühren mitzuverdienen.
Langfristig werde ich nie ein großer Produzent in Land 2.0 werden. Mein Ziel ist es, dort meine Nische zu finden, und so den ein oder anderen DEC zu verdienen. Wenn ich kann, werde ich auch meiner Gilde helfen, das Secret of Praetoria zu lüften.
Ich würde gerne mehr Land Plots und Monster dafür kaufen, aber wenn mein Ziel ist, im Ranked und Brawl voranzukommen, sind die Ressourcen dort besser aufgehoben.
My land
I currently have 7 natural land plots. Of these, 5 are common and 2 are rare. All in region 81, the home of @legendarydragons.
My rare natural bog is equipped with my best cards and a Runi and is currently producing research due to the low grain prices. The remaining 6 plots are producing grain.
I produce a surplus of approx. 5,500 grain per day.
I would like to exchange this for DEC to get a few DEC for the expansion of my deck. However, prices of 0.03 - 0.04 DEC per grain are too low for me. I hope that the prices will rise again when Land 2.0 arrives.
For now, I'll probably keep my grain surplus and only sell it when I have a good opportunity. When the LPs are introduced, I will probably participate in them so that I can passively earn some of the fees.
In the long term, I will never become a big producer in Land 2.0. My goal is to find my niche there and earn a DEC or two. If I can, I will also help my guild uncover the Secret of Praetoria.
I'd like to buy more land plots and monsters for it, but if my goal is to advance in ranked and brawl, the resources are better spent there.
Letzte Worte
Bis letzten Sommer war ich in der Lage mit meinem CL und RW Deck in der Champions League zu spielen.
Mit der Reward-Änderung hin zu staked SPS, war dies für mich mit nur ca. 35.000 SPS erstmal nicht mehr möglich. Seit dem spielte ich Modern in Gold und Wild in Diamond.
Nun mit mehr SPS und dem Wegfall von Untamed und Dice aus Modern hat sich viel verändert. Ich kann ohne zu mieten auf Augenhöhe mit meinen Gegnern in der Goldliga spielen und auch auf Diamond komme ich gut zurecht.
Wahrscheinlich könnte ich auch in Champion bestehen, aber dann hätte ich zu viele Reward Reduktionen durch niedrige Karten. Die fehlenden SPS könnte man ja einfach hinzumieten.
Das Ziel in Zukunft wieder auf Champion Niveau zu spielen ist ambitioniert, und wird sich ohne größere Einzahlungen nicht kurzfristig erreichen lassen. Ich will aber stetig Schritte in diese Richtung unternehmen, zumal mir Splinterlands dank Rebellion endlich wieder Spaß macht.
Mindestens einmal im Quartal werde ich Euch über meine Fortschritte und mein Portfolio berichten. Dazwischen hoffe ich, wieder mehr Zeit für einen schönen Brawl Bericht, oder einen Taktikartikel zu finden. Diese sind doch ohnehin viel lesenswerter, als Portfolioupdates.

Last words
Until last summer, I was able to play in the Champions League with my CL and RW deck.
With the reward change to staked SPS, this was no longer possible for me with only about 35,000 SPS. Since then I've been playing Modern in Gold and Wild in Diamond.
Now with more SPS and the removal of Untamed and Dice from Modern, a lot has changed. I can play on a par with my opponents in the Gold League without having to rent and I'm also doing well on Diamond.
I could probably also survive in Champion, but then I would have too many reward reductions due to low cards. I could simply rent the missing SPS.
The goal of playing at Champion level again in the future is ambitious and won't be achievable in the short term without large deposits. But I want to take steady steps in this direction, especially as I'm finally enjoying Splinterlands again thanks to Rebellion.
I will report on my progress and my portfolio at least once a quarter. In between, I hope to find more time for a nice Brawl report or a tactics article. These are much more worth reading than portfolio updates anyway.
