Dry Potato and Peas Recipe
Hello, Namaste friends,
How are you all? I hope you are all well and enjoying Sunday. I am also doing well.
Today, for breakfast, I made 'potato and peas ghugni' to eat with tea. Fresh potatoes and peas are available in the winter season, and I really like this ghugni. Whenever you feel like eating ghugni, you can quickly make it. It gets ready in almost no time, around 15 minutes.
To make it, I don't need much.
Ingredients:
- 200 grams of peas
- 4 small potatoes
- Some garlic cloves
- 4-5 green chilies
- Black pepper, cumin powder
It takes about 5 minutes to chop these vegetables.
Peel the peas and wash the potatoes. Cut them into small pieces.
Peel the garlic and chop the chilies.
Then, heat a pan and add oil. Once the oil is hot, add garlic and chilies and fry until golden brown.
Then add potatoes and peas, mix well, cover with a lid, and let it cook for 2 minutes. Then, uncover and check if the potatoes are cooked.
If the potatoes are cooked, add salt and black pepper powder, mix well, and cover for 1 minute.
ghugni is ready to serve. You can enjoy it with dal, rice, or parathas.
