Spicy Vermicelli Upma for Kids Ready in 10 Minutes

Hello friends, how are you all? I hope you all are doing well. Today, I am sharing a simple recipe with you that you can give to your children for lunch, and they'll love it. My son loves it a lot, so let me share the method of making it with you.

For this, I need the following ingredients

1 cup thick vermicelli

1 onion

1 green chili

1/2 teaspoon turmeric

Salt to taste or 1/2 teaspoon

Tomato ketchup
Time 10 minutes

First, we'll boil the vermicelli in 2 cups of water, then strain it using a sieve and keep it aside until it cools down. I couldn't take a picture while boiling the vermicelli, I'm sorry for that.

Now, finely chop an onion. If you have a chopper, you can use that to chop it.

Take a pan, add 2 tablespoons of oil, then add the green chili. After that, add the chopped onion. When the onion turns pink, add the vermicelli. Remember not to overcook the onion.

Now, add turmeric powder and salt according to taste and Tomato ketchup. Your vermicelli is ready to be served for lunch to your children.

You can make it even more flavorful, but I made this breakfast keeping in mind giving it to children for lunch.
