Last week Friday was a very amazing time featuring the 28 episodes of the ice breaker space series. There were a number of things on the discussion table that I would be doing a recap to the best of my ability. Last week's edition feature featured Yababmatt, ice and Lil Auntie, and Eric FA. Lil Auntie opened the discussion proper by sharing her journey in Web 3 gaming, she talked about her interest in play-to-earn games, and asked a question I have been asking for a while now What key factor do you consider when choosing a web3 gaming project? Before I continue, if anyone took out time to read some of my previous reviews, you will notice the question Lil Auntie asked has been in my heart all this while, especially since I started getting to know a lot of new things and projects on hive. I wouldn't want to invest in something that will fail, but we can know whether or not a project will fail or succeed, at least there should be pointers to success probabilities which I have been searching to know.

Yambamatt explained in detail how the Splinterlands game works for people like me who know so little about Blockchain games but are interested in learning about it, especially the Splinterlands game. In his words “blockchain-based trading card game. The game combines elements of a trading card game with an auto-battler, providing players with short, dynamic battles and a variety of random rulesets.”. He talked about the importance of a lot of things in the Splinterlands game of which I don't know per se how they work, having just gotten the game but yet to test run all the things he highlighted like multiplayer and team building. He also talked about players having a stake in the game's decision and integration of DAOs and tokens which I couldn't really gaps in full, but I'm sure I will understand everything having just purchased the spell book hehe…

Mattlopez talked about how most web3 games are only played for rewards and not for the fun of the game itself because some of these games aren't really fun to play. Bitking continued by talking about the importance of marketing the fun in web3 games instead of just the rewards which quite a number of creators do. I think this is important to the build-up of the gaming community and it would earn the creators of the game loyal users instead of the many reward-seeking users who would never have played the game in the first place if not for the rewards. Ice NFT continued by talking about the technical difficulties in web3 games, and also the importance of making the game accessible to the average users like me hehe…

Other topics that were shortly highlighted during the podcast are; the integration of NFTs, allowing founders to feature their collections, collaborative marketing to boost audience, the importance of gaming UIUX interface, the difficulties surrounding gaming NFTs, and finally the importance of creating simple and fun games. I give it up to developers who go all out to make amazing games in the Blockchain with the idea of giving value to the gaming community however, with the lots of developments going on it's only certain that we will ask for more seeing the need to improve.

WHY I THINK SPLINTERLANDS IS A GAME THAT WILL DOMINATE THE BULL RUN

With all that has been said and my little research coupled with the fact that I just downloaded the game, I think in a long run the splinterlands game would dominate the bull run because it's currently the only game standing out among a lot of the Blockchain games I have seen. The splinterlands game gives the balanced foundation of gaming from the UIUX, to the rewards and the game play it self which from what I have seen is as interesting as the rewards that follow.
