A Deep Dive into Splinterlands Content

Hello All!

I have been considering for a week now what kind of value I can provide by creating blog posts about Splinterlands?

I played Magic the Gathering in my teenage years but that isn't anything new, hasn't every geeky teenage boy picked up his cards and yelled "Suck on my green deck!" to his best friends?

I can't give any kind of investment advice, someone recently told me I should buy the dip...so I invested in Doritos.

However, I am new to the game, had no idea I turned up in the best time for beginners, the general release of Chaos Legion has flooded the market with affordable cards.

If you are anything like me when you pick up a hobby/opportunity... hobortunity like Splinterlands you dive right in. You will read and watch as much content as you can get your grubby hands on and figure how this all works, the meta, the big names in the sphere, why nobody is talking about how Shannus looks constipated?

If that doesn't sound like you and you think Shannus has the right amount of fibre in his diet but you are interested in getting some tips then I have some video series that could be of help.

@luke-wtp Earns is trying to build a deck with an $11 investment into a deck worth $1000 I think there is some solid advice here for the budget-conscious but obviously, it is going to take a long time to achieve his goal, too long for my tastes but full of useful tips.

@SteveR82 is doing something similar but building his deck with $150 and hoping to achieve gold ranking. This is much more my speed and where I got the idea of posting here, so thank you, Steve, you gold foil pulling magician.

@Hawks21 has some great advice on battles and choosing cards that synergies well. He has also started a series where he makes an initial investment of $500 and how far that can take him.

Finally, @cryptollamatv has a series about the different rulesets and which abilities are best to use in both offence and defence. I think the video was made before Chaos legions release but the information is still super relevant.

I think those channels are enough to get you started on your Splinterlands journey. I have only just started trawling through Splintertalk so I'm sure I'll be able to find more gems to uncover here.
