The most satisfying moment I have ever had in Splinterlands (and the luckiest one too probably :-D)

Hello dear fellow gamers...
This is my first time posting an article about the game session I played in Splinterlands, because I never see my self as a great gamer anyhow.
I am not so bad, but not very good either.
Prior to this I only ever made an artwork inspired by our beloved monster :).
But this time I just can't help my self.
I just have to share it because the ending is really... mind blowing...
It was a trample mode, so you might be able to imagine already, why it is so exciting... this mode would bring satisfaction to the max level for the winner :-D.

This match belongs to the most challenging tournament event: "Gold Encased Diamond", which offers the highest value of prizes among all the events.
The total prize has a worth of 14812 USD, isn't it tempting?
But well...
Sometimes I do think that I am really too daring to risk taking part in this event with my rather "small card collections" and try challenging a group of giants in Splinterlands :-D.
It is quite likely that I would end up losing 250 SPS for nothing.
This time I was still lucky enough to finish at the 33th place, so I eventually did not lose anything :).
Neverthless this match was very amusing and should just be shared with everyone ^_^.
Probably it might give some interesting ideas to any of you too.

So...let's just take a look at the line up:

As you all can see, here I was set up to beat one of the best player in Splinterlands @jacekw, who, as I predicted, finally ended up being the champion of the event this time.
This will be a tough match and he obviously had more or less similar idea with me, cos he also set "Silvershield Knight" at the last position, planned to trample everyone to death :-D.
Life is my strongest splinter so I did have a good odd to win, but it always remains to be seen :).
Luck sometimes play a big role too in a match afterall.

As you can see below, I have lost all my team mates, only the Silvershield Knight is left to fight till the last blood.

Well... My knight had trampled everyone and brought them to their doom, but he only has one soul left whereas the enemy's knight still has 7 souls intact...
We both have the same damage and the same speed.
Can my knight survive? Who will win this round?
I was very very very nervous...
What do you think friends...?
How will the game run to the end?

Tadaaaaa.....
Yess yess yess... I have beaten the champion of the events LOL.
See...?!? Luck is an X-Factor that could change the whole thing and bring out surprise LOL.
We have the same card with the same features: the same damage and speed, but after the last trample bonus set up by the match rules we were supposed to start the new round and it was pure of sheer luck that I got the first hit :).
So... I finally won the match.
The satisfaction brought by the series of trample events is provoking my desire to brag hahaha.
I may not gaining any financial advantage from this tournament but it still feels good anyhow to be able to beat the game master occasionally :).

Congratulation @jacekw for being the champion.
It was a good match :).

By the way, to watch the full battle just click here!

Trust me, it is worth it to watch!

See you next time!

That was an amazing victory! Stampede is indeed satisfying. Congratulations!

I think it wasn't luck: your opponent's strategy seem to have played out against him. Because he had ooze, he was able to strike first, then in the second round, when it was even due to same card, the stinking turn switched to you. Does this make sense? Or was it the rng God only?

To hit first in the second round was (well deserved) luck for the kobold. :)

I guess it was indeed luck. One of the basic principle in this game is being random afterall... so it is rather normal.
