BOTS conquering silver league? - Fighting against BOTS 26 times out of 28 games
Hi Guys. Today, I want to share that I played BOTS in almost all of my games. Out of 28 games that I played today, I played against bots 26 times.
QUEST
I got lucky with the quest and received one of my favorite quests, which will allow me to complete the quest more quickly and enjoy the remaining games.
GAMES
Game # 1
The first game was easy; based on the enemy's previous match history, I have learned that he is a bot.
And for my lineup, I chose monsters that deal magic damage and support that has a Resurrect ability to buy time for my damage dealers to finish off all of the enemies.
Game # 2
One of the games I was playing against a human was this one. Because I was expecting to battle a bot, I didn't check the enemy's match history, and I simply used the best monsters available for this ruleset. Fortunately, the enemy's summoner is inefficient with the ruleset and lacks a proper tank, allowing me to win the game.
Game # 3
I was up against a BOT in the third game, which was similar to the first. I'm not sure how the BOT thinks, but placing a ranged monster in the first position is always a horrible choice (his lineup made me laugh). I used the same strategy from the first game picking 3 magic and 3 range monsters with similar support.
GAME # 4
I was up against a BOT, just as in my other games. In this game, I tried to change things up by adding two Sneak monsters, range, and magic damage. Because of my higher damage output, I was able to win the game.
GAME # 5
In this match, I utilized the ruleset EQUAL OPPORTUNITY. I picked DEMENTED SHARK because of his ability INSPIRE and went for all melee lineup, which won me the game.
When playing against bots, getting wins is incredibly easy; I had a 23-game winning streak as a result of this. If you want to challenge the LEADERBOARDS, however, it will be more difficult this time because every win will only earn you 2 to 3 ratings, and if you lose, you will lose 20 points.

AFTERTHOUGHTS
Despite the fact that I won the majority of my games and had a 23-game winning streak, I felt unsatisfied. I still prefer playing against a person to challenge myself and grow, because even if I lose, I can learn a new lineup from the opposition, which BOTS does not provide; they always utilize the same lineups and drain the reward pool. However, I'm sure the wait time will be longer without the BOTS. I'm only hoping that the rewards for cardholders will improve with the next update.

You can tell by their name or match history. They usually use the starting cards.
Ya i hope the bots are dealt with in a way that doesnt ruin their investments, but also minimizes the impact of their botting activity on the community.

I am not really against BOTS. They bought their accounts and invested some money, they rent/own cards to play like humans.

do you think that human effort should be rewarded significantly greater than bot efforts? or do you not think it matters, im curious.
Humans and BOTs are using similar accounts. The rewards shouldn't differ. However, card owners should have greater rewards. I don't really care if the Card Holder is a bot. As long as they invest in the game they should be rewarded.
How about you? what do you think about bots @forsakensushi ?
"If I ruled the world?"
Well at this point all of the bots contribute to the economy, by either owning cards/cp or renting them and creating rental demand. These people were told their actions were ok, so to completely shut them down, would be a bad precedent for the word of the Splinterlands team.
That being said, what I would do is use the bots to the economies advantage. Since most stay below gold. I would make this new reward set only found in champion/diamond/gold chests. Move the current reward set down to silver/bronze/novice chests. That way bots will still be able to farm cards, those cards will serve as low cost raw materials for new players and investors, without harming the earnings value of the newer tier of cards. And always keep 2 or 3 sets of reward cards filtering through, as the newest set in champion/diamond/gold gets to 30 or 50% printed, that set moves down to lower tiers until its fully printed.
Bots can be useful to the economy as raw material producers, but we need to change the settings if you will. What do you think @yabapmatt ??
