Hi guys. This is one of our guild's BRAWLs, and I'll be sharing our guild's results as well as some of my battles. I was captivated by my match that I used VENATOR KINJO because of his ability REFLECTION SHIELD, I remember when this ability was not yet in the game, it was difficult to counter YODIN because of his ability BLAST and the ruleset EXPLOSIVE WEAPONRY, I usually use a high-speed monster to overpower the enemy of picked a monster with a TAUNT ability and a secondary tank monster

GAMES

GAME 1 - YODIN VS BRIGHTON

My plan for this match was to use the EARTHQUAKE ruleset, so I chose BRIGHTON BLOOM as my summoner to ignore the EARTHQUAKE, and magic damage monsters with high mana cost to ensure they don't miss and to maximize the high mana cap game.
I did not expect the enemy to choose YODIN; YODIN is one of the best summoners, but he is a poor choice in this particular match. Because the opponent did not select monsters with the FLYING ability or monsters that can increase his monsters' armor, which is why every time the round ends, his monsters take damage from the EARTHQUAKE ruleset, giving me a damage output advantage and winning the game.

GAME 2 - The importance of SHIELD ability

My plan was to use my favorite low mana cost lineup with LORNA OF SHINE, STITCH LEECHSNEAK*, range damage monster, and PELACOR CONJURER as a tank, but I lost because I forgot one of the most important abilities in this specific ruleset. I thought I had a good lineup, but I forgot that one of the best abilities in this LOST MAGIC ruleset is SHIELD, which reduces the damage taken from physical damage monsters. I lost to ALVA THE CRUSHER singlehandedly, and with her BLOODLUST ability, my low mana cost monsters boosted her even more.

GAME 3 - The Power of REFLECTION SHIELD Ability

Because this is an EXPLOSIVE WEAPONRY ruleset, I chose a monster with the TAUNT ability to control the blast damage, and I chose VENATOR KINJO and placed him beside my TAUNT monster because his ability REFLECTION SHIELD disregards the blast damages.
The game was extremely close; the enemy chose excellent first and secondary position monsters capable of tanking blast damage, while the rest were damage dealers. I could have easily lost the game if I hadn't chosen VENATOR KINJO, who tanked the blast damage and is my last standing monster, which won me the game.

At the conclusion of my battles, I had 8 wins and 1 loss. I got two free wins because my opponent FLED.

GUILD PERFORMANCE

This is our lowest overall ranking in the last few months; we came in third, which isn't bad, but we usually come in first or second.

AFTERTHOUGHTS

I enjoy using both VENATOR KINJO and TIDE BITER, particularly the latter because I enjoy water splinter and it is the only deck on which I have unlocked his REFLECTION SHIELD ability. They are incredible in the EXPLOSIVE WEAPONRY ruleset, they can win you the game, and especially if you expect your opponent to go for YODIN ZAKU, these monsters are a natural counter to him. These monsters, in my opinion, are undervalued; they are still cheap because they are still being printed, but once they are finished printing their prices will skyrocket.
