My best daily reward was in Gold League.

Hello, my name is Matheus and today in the Social Media Challenge, I will talk about the best daily reward I have had so far playing Splinterlands and the reasons that led me to climb the league even though most of my cards are low level.

I won two Gold Foil cards that together give 25k power. I had already seen other people win up to three legendary Gold Foil cards, but they were always in the Diamond and Champion leagues, so I think I was lucky to get these cards in the Gold league.

I played in the silver league for a long time because I didn't have enough cards to play at the gold level and thought I wouldn't be able to win matches. However, this month I decided to play in the gold league to compare the rewards with those I received playing in the silver league since the Soulbound rewards started. Even though I rented cards at the silver level (C5 R4 E3 L2) to earn more focus points and faced opponents with gold-level cards (C8 R6 E5 L3), it is still possible to win some matches and stay in the gold league. I used to think that all matches in the gold league would be against opponents with gold-level cards, but more than half of the matches, especially towards the end of the season, are against opponents with silver-level and even bronze-level cards (C3 R2 E2 L1).

When the Soulbound rewards came, I was thinking of moving up to the next league only when my cards were upgraded to the gold level. However, since I tested it last month and got really good rewards, I decided to start playing in the gold league right away. In the first few days of this season, I struggled a lot, and I'm still struggling. My rentals ran out, and I'm facing opponents with the maximum level of gold league cards. But it's worth it because it's much easier to stay in the league and get better rewards from the middle to the end of the season.

For those who are starting today in Splinterlands, it is relatively easier to stay at least in the silver league, where the rewards start to be worth it. What I recommend is always trying to stay at least in the gold league to receive better rewards, especially Chaos Legion packs since the chance of getting silver league (0.005%) and gold league (2%) packs is very high, as well as the chance of getting legendary cards (0.8% in the silver league and 1.2% in the gold league) and Gold Foil cards (2% in the silver league and 3% in the gold league).

My strategy for this month

From the beginning of the season until about 4 days ago, I realized that staying in the gold league is very difficult, so I prefer to try to stay in silver 1, since with my current cards I earn more focus points in silver 1 than in gold 3, for example. Last month I managed to stay in gold 1 for about half the season and stayed until the end of the season. I had to spend DEC on rentals, but with the rewards that came, I made a profit. The higher the league, the more expensive it becomes to rent cards, however, there are cards that are more commonly used than others, so you can just rent the most used cards up to the league level, and the less used ones just rent at level 1.

In conclusion, playing Splinterlands can be challenging but also rewarding, and with the right strategy and perseverance, even beginners can achieve great results. Thanks for reading Bye!!
