Refrigerator's Role in Hotsauce Generation & Storage - Stakehouse Den

Hey there — hope your day’s going well! I’m excited to share with you an awesome little feature of the Stakehouse Den ecosystem: the Refrigerator. If you’re curious about how Hot Sauce (yes, that’s really the name!) gets stored, ramped up, and scaled — you’re in the right place.
What’s the Refrigerator?
In Stakehouse Den, once you generate Hot Sauce via staking cards, the Refrigerator is the in-platform “vault” where you claim and store that Hot Sauce. But here’s the catch: you can’t just stack infinite amounts in there — there’s a built-in cap.
By default, the Refrigerator comes with free storage capacity for 50 $HotSauce. That gives you a baseline buffer — but once you hit that limit, you can’t store any more unless you upgrade.
So how do you break past that 50 $HotSauce ceiling? The key lies in burning $Script (i.e. sacrificing some of it) to expand your storage. Here are the upgrade tiers:
| Burn Amount (Script) | Multiplier | Total Storage (Hot Sauce) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 $Script | 3× | 150 → 450 |
| 5 $Script | 4× | 1,000 → 4,000 |
| 25 $Script | 5× | 6,250 → 31,250 |
| 50 $Script | 6× | 15,000 → 90,000 |
| 100 $Script | 7× | 35,000 → 245,000 |
| 250 $Script | 8× | 100,000 → 800,000 |
| 500 $Script | 9× | 225,000 → 2,025,000 |
| 1,000 $Script | 10× | 500,000 → 5,000,000 |
Each tier boosts your max storage dramatically, letting you hold much more Hot Sauce.

Why It Matters
The Refrigerator is more than just storage. It’s a strategic tool. As your stakes and rewards grow, you want to avoid hitting that capacity ceiling. If you do, any further Hot Sauce you could be earning will have nowhere to go — it's lost opportunity. Upgrading your storage with Script is an investment, ensuring you capture every drop.
Plus, the scaling is aggressive: burning more Script gives you higher multipliers, not just linear gains. In a well-tuned system like Stakehouse Den, that can make a big difference over time.
