This is the weekly Challenge of SHARE YOUR BATTLE, and the Theme for the Week is SCAVO FIREBOLT
Welcome to my Gaming Space where I give detailed analysis of my Splinterlands Battle.
For this week we shall discuss the theme of SCAVO FIREBOLT.
I rarely use the Scavo Firebolt Monster. However, this week's challenge was an opportunity for me to learn more about this Monster.
Let's get into an in-depth analysis of this Monster and I will share a battle were I used it.
SCAVO FIREBOLT 🔥
Edition: CHAOS LEGION
Rarity: RARE
Element: FIRE
Attack: RANGED
Abilities: Knock Out at level 6
LORE
Living within the Realm of Silence, the mole-like race of Scavo were affected by the toxic gas from the Mountain of Ash. They became highly intelligent and worked diligently to protect their home from the blight. Scavo Firebolts were particularly changed by their proximity to the magma, developing the ability to summon and launch bolts of fire from their palms. They defend their home by launching these fire bolts from great distances. Approaching enemies don't even realize the danger until fire begins to rain from above. Those that are incapacitated are especially vulnerable.

My battle was against RENALLY-GL who chose Summoner and Monsters from the Primal Force of Death. On the other hand, I selected my Summoner and my Monsters from the Primal Force of Fire. We are both without Guilds.
📝 RULES OF THE BATTLE
The rules of the game were:
- Standard Game: which means no changes, modification or addition to the normal playing techniques.
- Mana Cap of 21.
- Elements that can be used include all: Water, fire, Earth, light, death and dragon.
MY STRATEGY 🎯 AND LINE-UP ♟
For my strategy, here are my Summoner and Monsters, and I'll tell you why I chose each Summoner and Monsters.
MY SUMMONER
Pyre
I chose the Fire Summoner Pyre in order to give my Monsters extra speed.
MY MONSTERS
LIVING LAVA
RADIATED SCORCHER
TENYII STRIKER
CHAOS AGENT
SCAVO FIREBOLT
MEET MY MONSTERS
Monster Name | Image | Reason for Choosing |
---|---|---|
Living Lava | Each time I play with the Fire Splinter, I always choose the Living Lava as my first position Monster. I like it's health and attack effect, although it's speed is really annoying. However, since I used the Summoner Pyre, it gave an added speed to the Monster. | |
Radiated Scorcher | I added this Monster to my team because it has only 1 mana. Just to fill the space, but since it is a Melee Monster, I just kept it at that position. | |
Tenyii Striker | This is one of my best Sneak Monster because of its good health and good attack effect. | |
Chaos Agent | I placed this Monster to fill up the space and to take blows from my opponent's opportunist Monsters, if there are. | |
Scavo Firebolt | This is the themed Monster of the week. I placed it at the last position because it is a Ranged Monster who attacks from far distance. |
COMMENTARY AND SUMMARY ON THE BATTLE
ENTRANCE
RUMBLE
At the beginning of the Battle, the following events happened:
☆ My opponent's Summoner, Thaddius Brood reduced 1 health of my Monsters.
☆ My Monster, Pyre, gave my Monsters 1 speed each.
THE BATTLE LASTED FOR 6 ROUNDS
ROUND ONE
☆ In the First round, my Tenyii Striker, a Sneak Monster, took out the last position Monster of my opponent's team.
☆ My opponent's sneak Monsters collectively took out my Scavo Firebolt, the themed Monster of the week.
ROUND TWO
☆ Both teams lost their last position monsters in this round.
ROUND THREE
☆ The battle was quite tough and I thought I'd lose the battle.
☆ However, my Living Lava defeated my enemy's Cursed Windeku.
☆ My enemy's Carrion Shade also lost its life.
☆ My remaining Monsters had fee life left so I wasn't certain that I'll win.
ROUND FOUR & FIVE
☆ My enemy's Silent Sha-vi defeated my Living Lava and Radiated Scorcher successively.
☆ My Tenyii Striker and my Opponent's Silent Sha-vi were left.
☆ Both my enemy's Silent Sha-vi and my Tenyii Striker had low lives, such that if any receives any hit... it will mean victory to the other.
ROUND FIVE
☆ I had the opportunity of attacking first, and this led to my Victory. It was truly a narrow victory.... but at the end..
....I WON THE BATTLE!!!
DID YOUR STRATEGY WORK?
Well, honestly, my strategy wasn't a clear one. But I managed to win the battle
WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE DIFFERENTLY?
Rather than placing the Scavo Firebolt at the last position, I would have used the choas Agent, so that it will be a sacrificial lamb for my opponent's Sneak Monsters.
If I had huge mana cap for the battle, I would have selected a healer in my team.
DO YOU LIKE SCAVO FIREBOLT?
O yes, I really do!
