This is the weekly Challenge of SHARE YOUR BATTLE, and the Theme for the Week is SHADOW SNITCH.

When I saw this theme or Monster of the week, I went to my Monster Collection to check if I own the card. Unfortunately, I discovered that I don't own the card. However when I purchased my spellbook, the card was given to me as part of the Playable cards.
So let's dive into who the SHADOW SNITCH is and my battle experience with the Battle SNITCH. 😉

SHADOW SNITCH

Edition: CHAOS LEGION
Rarity: COMMON
Element: DEATH
Attack: MELEE
Abilities: Reach
LORE
Shadow Snitches are created by the conjurers of the Chaos Legion. Weaving Death magic, they breathe life into beings made completely of darkness. The purpose of the Shadow Snitches is to be deployed into lands prior to the Chaos Legion's invasion. Moving from shadow to shadow, they are listeners and watchers, feeding information back to the Chaos Legion.
But once the invasion is complete, the Shadow Snitches still serve a purpose. They can locate and follow high-value targets, reporting back on movements to Chaos Legion leadership. If needed, Shadow Snitches can also capture prisoners and bring them back for interrogation.

Looking at the Statistics, we can see that at Level 1 the Shadow Snitch
only possesses:
- 1 Melee attack effect
- 5 hearts
- 1 speed
- Reach ability
It increases little by little, but from the 6th level upwards we have an additional style of Affliction.
When a Monster with Affliction hits a target, it has a chance of applying Affliction on the target causing it to be unable to be healed.
And at the 10th level we have an additional style of Dodge.
Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks.

SHADOW SNITCH STATISTICS AT LEVEL 1
- As a Melee attacker, the Shadow Snitch is a closed ranged Monster. The 1 Melee attack effect implies that whenever the Shadow Snitch attacks a monster in the opponent's side, it gives a minimal damage (1 only) to the card.
- The 5 hearts (life/health) implies that Wood Nymph has only five attacks or five blows to receive and after that it will be off from the game/defeated. 5 is a fairly good number for health of a Monster.
- The 1 speed implies that the Monster will be slow. A speed range of 2 should be the least when you want to pick a card.
- Reach ability means that the Shadow Snitch may attack from the second position on the team.

MY BATTLE

My battle was between @Qweww 😁 who chose Summoner and Monsters from the Primal Force of Light. On the other hand, I selected my team from the Primal Force of Death in order to select the Shadow Snitch as part of the team!
RULES OF THE BATTLE

The rules of the game were:
- Standard Game: which means no changes, modification or addition to the normal playing techniques.
- Mana Cap of 17: its small though 😅 so you have to be careful with your selection.
- Elements that can be used include all: Water, fire, Earth, light, death and dragon.

MY STRATEGY AND LINEUP

For my strategy, here are my Summoner and Monsters, and I'll tell you why I chose each Summoner and Monsters.
MY SUMMONER
THADDIUS BROOD

MY MONSTERS
With the little Mana cap of 17, I chose 4 Monsters:
- Carrion Shade
- Cursed Windeku
- Shadow Snitch
- Undead Badger
CARRION SHADE

Attack - Melee
Attack Effect - 1
Life - 2
Speed - 2
Special ability - None
It may seem as though I made a mistake by using a "weakling" in the First position 😅 But, the fact is... I used this monster as a Sacrificial lamb 😅
CURSED WINDEKU
)Attack - Melee
Attack Effect - 2
Life - 9
Speed - 3
Special ability - Thorns
My aim was, after the defeat of Carrion Shade, the Cursed Windeku will take up the first position and hold up that position.
SHADOW SNITCH

Attack - Melee
Attack effect - 1
Life - 5
Speed - 1
Special Ability - Reach
This is the Monster of the week. I positioned it at this level to assist the Cursed Windeku and to utilise its reach ability at the second position.
UNDEAD BADGER

Attack - Melee
Attack Effect - 1
Life - 1
Speed - 3
Special Ability - Sneak
Although this Monster has low life and Attack effect, with a good speed, I used it because of its sneak effect so that it can attack the opponent from the last position.

ROUND 1 AND 2

The first and second round was actually a tough one, and one can't really be 100% certain on who will be victorious in the battle.
ROUND 3

At the end of the second round, the Carrion Shade was knocked out, just like I predicted. However, I was a bit relaxed because my Cursed Windeku was in the first position having both Attack and defense (Thorns) really active. With a good health as well.
ROUND 4

At the end of the third round, my opponent lost his/her first Monster. From then, it actually became clear to me that I'll win the battle because the next Monster at the first position was left with 1 life only. 😁
ROUND 5

I took off my opponent's next Monster at the beginning of the 4th round, and the next Monster took a whole round of strokes from my:
- Cursed Windeku (it attacked as first position Monster),
- Shadow Snitch (it attacked because of Reach ability)
- Undead Badger (it attacked because of Sneak ability)
Taking all the 3 hits in one, my opponent didn't survive it 😅😅😅
I won the battle!

This was my first Battle after the end of the Season, and I won it with my strategy and with the Shadow Snitch Monster.
