This is the weekly Challenge of SHARE YOUR BATTLE, and the Theme for the Week is TIME MAGE

The TIME MAGE Monster is one I always look out for each time I choose the Life Splinter. Well, I use this Monster when the Mana Cap of the game is pretty big, so that I can choose other Monsters as well.

However, every Battle Challenge is an opportunity for me to learn more about Splinterlands Monsters. So let's get to know the TIME MAGE better.

LORE

Time Mages are members of the Order of the Silver Shield and close associates of the Wizards' Council. They are trusted to peer through the fabric of time and reality to foretell the future or manipulate the present by slowing the flow of time. They can also speed up the aging process of armor, causing it to rust prematurely.

However, with such power also comes great risk. The future is ever-changing, and the ripples of time can affect everyone. Time Mages must undergo strict training to ensure they don't abuse their power and use it only for the most dire of circumstances.

My battle was against Phylliss 😁 who chose Summoner and Monsters from the Primal Force of Fire. On the other hand, I selected my team from the Primal Force of Life.

RULES OF THE BATTLE

---

The rules of the game were:

• Standard Game: which means no changes, modification or addition to the normal playing techniques.
• Mana Cap of 13
• Elements that can be used include all: Water, fire, Earth, light, death and dragon.

MY STRATEGY AND LINE-UP

For my strategy, here are my Summoner and Monsters, and I'll tell you why I chose each Summoner and Monsters.

MY SUMMONER

MOTHER KHALA

I chose Mother Khala as my Summoner so she could give my Monsters 1 health each.

Monster Name	Image	Reason for Choosing
Blinding Reflector		I Chose the Blinding Reflector as my first position Monster because of its extra Shield and health. Although it has a weak attack effect, I relied on my other Monsters for support.
Gargoya Scrapper		I chose this monster to replace the Blinding Reflector in case it gets defeated earlier. No much ability though, it's all because of the low mana cap of the battle.
Time Mage		This is the theme Monster for the week. I placed her at this position since she is a magic attack Monster, so she can attack from any position. However, I chose to send the Melee attackers first.
Celestial Harpy		Sexy Monster 😍🤩 lol. I placed the Celestial Harpy at this position because of her Dodge ability. With this she will be able to Dodge attacks from the opponent's Sneak Monsters. I also placed her at the last position because she has the Opportunist ability. With this, she attacks the weakest link of my Opponent's team.

COMMENTARY AND SUMMARY ON THE BATTLE

RUMBLE

At the beginning of the Battle, the following events happened:

☆ My opponent's Summoner, Pyre, gave my opponent's team Monsters 1 Speed each.

☆ My Summoner Mother Khala gave my team Monsters 1 health each.

☆ My Monster Time Mage (Themed Monster of the week) reduced the Speed of my opponent's Monsters.

THE BATTLE LASTED FOR 4 ROUNDS

ROUND ONE

---

☆ In the first round, my beautiful Opportunist Monster, Celestial Harpy, knocked out the Opportunist Monster of my opponent.

☆ Other attacks reduced the health of the affected Monsters.

ROUND TWO

---

☆ The game was looking promising for me already, with all my Monsters intact. Yet, all Monsters stood on their feet for this round.

☆ No Monster lost his or her life in this round.

---

ROUND THREE

---

☆ The Time Mage delivers her magic attack to my opponent's first position Monster and it was defeated.

☆ Oh no! A ranged Monster takes up the first position in my opponent's team.

☆ The range Monster cannot attack from the first position except the rule of the game allows it. So in this case, it is powerless.

ROUND FOUR

---

☆ Just like I said, My opponent's Ranged Monster was powerless. It couldn't attack. So it received all the blows till it lost the battle, and....

....I WON THE BATTLE!!!

DID YOUR STRATEGY WORK?

YES! My strategy worked out so well as I envisaged. Even better and sweeter 😆 I won the battle without losing a Monster. Fun right? 😉 and I am also maintaining my winning streak. You can see it in the picture above right?? 😉

DO YOU LIKE TIME MAGE?

Yes, I like the Time Mage. Her stat is a pretty decent one. And her ability of Slow and Rust, comes really handy for the team.
