Weekly Battle Challenge: Carrion Shade!!

Elloooo, its been a while since my last, which also was my first post ever on Hive. I surprisingly got a bountiful upvote from Clove71, thank you so much, which definitely motivates me to write more, but sadly real life had been hectic and thus I skipped last week challenges. And I actually almost missed this one too! Or will I? 8 hours left till the post payout lets gooo! First ever weekly battle post by me! Without further ado, lets first review our star of the week, Carrion Shade !!

A drizzle cast the forest road in shades of gray. The forest itself gave off a mournful, lonely atmosphere. The trees bowed in the silence and stillness. And it was only broken by the fluttering of wings. A group of carrion shades surrounded a humanoid body. A person left on the side of the road, their belongings taken and stab wounds across their body. Any passerby would have known it was a deal gone wrong. But under the watch of the forest, it was only a scene of the circle of life. One body feeding others. The dark feathers of the carrion crows blocked out the corpse as they enjoyed their meal.

This dark-winged bird feeds off of the dead bodies of animals and people, yet sadly didn't have Scavenge... To be honest, this card isn't all that popular, he won't even be the first to come to mind for most when thinking of what to rent or get. However, as is the case with every other cards, he too have moments when he contributed to a win, so lets see the one I got with him shall we? 😋

The fateful battle happened during one of my tournament hunt!

24 Mana, Earthquake and Equalizer round. Usually I would have went with Bloom, but Dragon was regrettably disabled this time.

My prediction of Wavesmith was spot on, but I definitely didn't expect Vera, my flyers got grounded pretty quick, yet they brought me enough time to slays them all first. All well end well I guess! If anything there is to improve, I would have add a Corpse Fiend in for extra Front tank, but sadly doesn't have the privilege to rent one on the spot XD.

If you ask me whether I like Carrion Shade or not, I guess I can only say I don't even remember him exist most of the time HAHAHAHHAH, though sure there will come times like this when he deserve his spot in the team and I'll be thankful he exist!
