I present to you my second drawing in a series of combining cute animal illustrations with characters from Splinterlands. Today I chose a frog as the main character, the idea is completely random I just remembered I saw a cartoon in which Thor was turned into a frog and I thought it would be a great idea to draw this character in combination with one of the monsters.

Who was paired with whom?

If you haven't already guessed, today the powerful defender "Silvershield Paladin" was combined with "Throg" which is Simone Walterson from Earth 616. This is how a new character was created which I named "Silvershield Frog".

All work was done in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. First, a sketch was done, and then coloring and shading in Photoshop.

Process creating the Digital Art

First sketch:

Outline a sketch to separate elements that will be colored later. Therefore, you do not need to worry about overlapping lines.



The coloring process is best shown in the gif below, where you can see the best stages of creating the character.



At the very end I had to add shadows and select the background and thus was created a powerful protector of reptiles, fear of flies, invincible "Silvershield Frog".

Conclusion

I am very proud of this drawing, because I spent a lot of time creating it, but the effect is really very good. Maybe next time I will think about a small animation, but I think that such details can wait until I better understand Photoshop.
