The Desert Dragon is most commonly found east of the Jade Thickett, on the sandy plains of the Ixzoc. Its long neck is banded red and black, with savage horns that sprout from its head and vicious fangs more wicked than scimitars that line its jaws. Quite often assumed as a lumbering, flightless giant with wings that are tattered and torn, many make the mistake that it cannot move quickly and will sometimes stray too close. But any that have seen it hunt the plain grazers will know, not only can the beast move with considerable speed, the terrifying charge will often leave its target rooted to the spot with terror, unable to flee its impending doom. The Desert Dragon is so big that on rare occasions its attack has been mistaken for seismic activity and minor earthquakes.

I would like to share my battles using DESERT DRAGON. He is a Dragon splinter Monster from Chaos Legion edition.
I will share my battle by using him in my scholarship account so I could have experience using him in the higher level league and battle.

Taking into account the ruleset and Monster options that I have, I choose Dragon splinter because there is Desert Dragon that is suitable with the Stampede ruleset. After that, I choose other Monsters from Death Splinter as effectively as possible.

Desert Dragon lv3 has 5 Melee attacks, 2 speeds, 3 armors, and 7 health. He has Trample ability that can be an advantage in this battle. He also has Retaliate ability which makes the chance of the trample ability being triggered is high.

Dodge & Phase
Chaos Agent lv 6 has 3 speeds and 2 health. He has Dodge and Phase abilities. He is only cost 1 mana and I really like to use him as 2nd tank. Hopefully, he could avoid and waste some attacks from enemy Monsters.

Silent Sha-vi
Sneak & Cripple
Silent Sha-vi lv6 has 3 Melee attacks, 5 speeds, and 6 health. He has Sneak and Cripple abilities. He will target and attack the enemy Monster in the last position.

Soul Strangler

Soul Strangler lv 5 has 3 Ranged attack, 3 speeds and 3 health. I chose him because he has decent attack, speed, and health.

Life Sapper
Life Leech
Life Sapper lv5 has 2 Magic attacks, 3 speeds, and 3 health. He could add his health by 1 when he managed to attack the enemy Monsters.
6th
Wierding Warrior
Shatter
Wierding Warrior lv2 has 1 ranged attack, 3 speeds, and 2 health. He has Shatter ability that could destroy the armor of the Monster. Hopefully, he could destroy some of the enemy Monster armors and make it easy for his allies to kill the enemy Monsters.

  • Round 1 started with buff and debuff process by both team as follows :

  • Lira the Dark attacked first and managed to kill Chaos Agent in the 2nd position of my team.
  • Void Dragon, Supply Runner, Life Sapper, and Corpse Fiend take turns on attacking Desert Dragon. They managed to destroy his armors and dealt 4 damage.
  • Desert Dragon's Retaliate ability has been triggered when attacked by Corpse Fiend. He attack back and managed to kill Corpse Fiend.
  • After Corpse Fiend is killed, Desert Dragon attack the next Monster which is Void Dragon but missed.
  • Silent Sha-vi attack Lira the Dark in the last position of the enemy team and dealt 3 damage.
  • Life Sapper and Soul Strangler tried to attack Void Dragon but missed.
  • Desert Dragon managed to kill Void Dragon. After that, he continues to attack and kill the next monsters which are Life Sapper and Supply Runner.
  • Unfortunately, he fails to attack Lira the Dark so the serial killing stops.

Summary of round 1 :

  • The first round went according to strategy.
  • It's beyond my expectation that Desert Dragon could kill 3 enemy Monsters in a row.
  • The next round will be a slowly killing process due to Lira the Dark couldn't attack anymore because she is in the first position.

ROUND 2

  • Silent Sha-vi tried to attack Lira the Dark at the beginning of round 2 but missed.
  • Life Sapper and Wierding Warrior take turns attacking Lira the Dark and managed to kill her.

DID MY STRATEGY WORK?

  • Yes, my strategy works effectively.

  • Desert Dragon's Trample and Retaliate abilities worked well in the battle and become the main key to the victory.

CONCLUSION

  • Monsters from Chaos Legion edition in the Dragon Splinter have really good stats and abilities.
  • All of them are Legendary cards and cost big mana.
  • In my opinion, they are really good for investment.

This is the first time I've seen Desert Dragon. I certainly wouldn't mind pulling that out of a card pack! I'm tempted to look at buying even. I don't think I've even be able to defeat Quix as an opponent without extra legendaries in the team.

Some Monsters from Chaos Legion edition especially from Dragon Splinter are very strong. I had no luck in opening the pack. Last time I bought 21 packs and didn't get a good one🤣.

Now I'm focusing on buying the card that I need in the Market. It's more realistic for me😁.

Thanks again for your advice last time and now I already have decent Monsters to fight in the Silver league and a good investment as well.

I've just been opening a few packs myself and I think I must have opened around 70 before I got a single legendary! I'm not known for my good luck. 😅

That is not true😂. You got Queen Mycelia and 6 Summoners ( one of them is GF ). You opened 11 packs and got cards worth $51.

I think I must have opened around 70

I think it is better to wait until all airdrop cards have been opened. They save the best for the last and I think with your luck you could get some of it🤩.
