Share Your Battle - The Forgotten Summoner
Some time ago, Daria Dragonscale nearly lost her twin brother Delwyn to the Burn that had stricken so many of the scaled. She would have lost him completely, but at his deathbed she hired the services of a dark sorcerer who transferred his soul into a special Heliosoulstone. While he was suspended inside the stone, Daria traveled to the Earth Splinter, where she visited the Flesh Golems in the root of the Elder Tree. With their help, she created a new Golem from fleshy scraps. Delwyn’s soul was transferred into the new Golem, and Daria had her brother back… forever.
Hello Everyone!
Today I would like to make a post of the forgotten summoner after Chaos Legion was released.
He is Delwyn Dragonscale. Let's see the detail of this summoner.
One of Delwyn's weaknesses is the high mana cost. Using him in low mana battles is a tough challenge but that doesn't mean it's impossible. We need to pair him with the low mana magic monsters. While the advantage of Delwyn is that he can be a summoner for all splinters as he is from Dragon Splinter.
Below is a list of the magical monsters I used to rent for Delwyn.
Now the question is whether Delwyn is still good to be used for now? Let's find out.
BATTLE #1
RULE SET
Broken Arrows
Ranged attack Monsters may not be used in battles.Mana Capacity: 14
Available Element: Fire, Life, Death & Dragon
MY LINEUP
After waiting for a while finally there is a battle that earth splinter is unavailable. Now is the time to use Delwyn. I need to choose the monsters carefully and wisely as this is a low mana battle. |
Low mana tank with a shield ability which reduced damage from melee and range attacks. Hopefully, he can give enough time to Life Sapper and Death Elemental to kill the opposing monsters.
Low mana magic monster with life leech ability in which his health will be increased each hit the opposing monster. I put him in the second position in order to protect Death Elemental as his health will be more than Death Elemental.
Another low mana magic attack monster with snipe ability in which targets the opposing monster with range and magic attacks that are not in the first position. |
ROUND 1
- The opponent's lineups e.g. Drake of Arnak (Summoner), Cursed Windeku (1st position), Cursed Slimeball (2nd position), and Life Sapper in the last position.
- Round 1 started with +1 magic attack by Delwyn's buff to the allies and +1 armor by Drake of Arnak's buff to allies.
- Death Elemental attacked first and managed to kill the opposing Life Sapper.
- Cursed Windeku attacked Crypt Beetle and make him lose 1 armor.
- Life Sapper attacked Cursed Windeku and he lost 1 health while Life Sapper's health is increased by 1.
- Crypt Beetle attacked Cursed Windeku and make him lose 1 armor but Crypt Beetle also lost 1 health because of Cursed Windeku's thorns ability.
ROUND 2
- Death Elemental and Life Sapper attack Cursed Windeku in turn and make him lose 4 health in total.
- Cursed Windeku attack Crypt Beetle and managed to kill him.
ROUND 3
- Death Elemental attack Cursed Windeku and make him lose 2 health at the beginning of round 3.

CONCLUSION
- Delwyn Dragonscale is still good to be used in the current battle.
- I prefer to use him when the earth splinter is unavailable in battle.
- With a very cheap rental cost, Delwyn can be an alternative strategy in battle.

At one time Delwyn was one of the cheapest dragon summoners to buy, so he's my most levelled up one. I see you're using him effectively at level 1, though. There's also Obsidian as a starter card now, if you have an earth match. She's not bad and I like Mylor for earth too.
Wow nice...you already leveled up him until level 6. I watched and enjoyed your battle using him in the gold league...nice played👍.
Yeah, I like Obsidian and Mylor as well. Thank you for your upvote. Have a nice day and stay safe.
Very impressive breakdown @kyo-gaming - I’m not a gamer, but I have invested in dividend tokens that include them; nevertheless gamers with great content is always a treat!

Nice, good tactic. Found this on listnerds!
Thank you very much🙏
Even as a non-gamer, this breakdown was easy to follow. Great job!
Thank you very much🙏
I obviously have a lot more to learn about this game. I gained a lot of insight from your post. Thanks.
Glad to hear that. Thank you very much🙏
I continue to find Delwyn Dragonscale a very power summoner, because of the access it gives to dragon magic monsters. Unfortunately, I don't have one. There are of course counters to it, as you mentioned in the post as well.
Yes, every card has its counter and we have to choose the right strategy and cards. This is the most interesting side of this P2E game.
Thank you and have a nice day.
Thanks for sharing! - @marianaemilia
