My first new Reward Card and First Battle with it!

Hello everyone. Hope you are fine. Today I won my first reward card from the new edition and it was a Water Splinter monster named PELACOR BANDIT.
I won it from my daily quest chest and tried it out soon thereafter.

The Battle

I chose not to progress to Silver League this season as I couldn't play as much this time around. So, I rented my legendary cards and choose to play in the Bronze league itself. Hence, a 24 mana battle with Stampede as the ruleset ensued in the Bronze League.

I was eager to try out my new card and went for the Water Splinter right away. I chose Alric Stormbringer as my summoner as I wanted to use mostly magic cards.

My monster line up consisted of :

• Lobstradamus- a great tank
• Captain's Ghost
  high life, high magic damage and Affliction ability!
• Pelacor Bandit - my new rewards card.
  Melee monster with Flying and Sneak abilities! and only 3 mana cost.
• Coral Wraith
  Another cool magic sneak monster - one of the few magic sneak monsters I have come across
• Creeping Ooze
  For the slow ability and as a buffer to take sneak and opportunity attacks
• Furious Chicken
  If there is space for the chicken, always include it!

My opponent went for the Fire Splinter with Pyre as his summoner and a pretty standard lineup with a blast ability monster included.

How did it go?

Well, pretty well and am glad that I won my first battle with the new card.
I liked the card for its low mana and fast speed and 2 abilities. That's quite a lot for a 3 mana common card.
