Welcome to my blog where I'll share my winning battle with Carrion Shade.

Carrion Shade (NORMAL Death Monster)

A carrion shade is a dark-winged bird that feeds off of the dead bodies of animals and people. They often flock to battlefields and dangerous parts of the wilderness where there are sure to be corpses. They travel in small groups and have no natural predators. Most people fear the carrion shades, though. For to see a group following you is to know your life is in danger. Tales whispered by the elder wise women claim that if you see a single carrion shade perched outside your home, then someone you love will die that night... Lore.

A Brief Info About The Battle

The battle mana cap was 26 with the "Standard" ruleset where I've used the death splinter and my opponent used the water splinter against me.

Lineup.

After selecting Thaddius Brood as the summoner that offers -1 magic attack and -1 health to the opponent team, then I had Cursed Windeku with 2 melee attacks & the "Thorns" ability at the 1st position, Carrion Shade with a melee attack at the 2nd position, Life Sapper with a magic attack & the "Life Leech" ability at the 3rd position, Death Elemental with a magic attack & the "Snipe" ability at the 4th position, Magi Necrosi with 2 magic attacks & "Snipe & Camouflage" abilities at the 5th position & Soul Strangler with 2 ranged attacks at the last position.

And after using Kelya Frendul as the summoner that offers +1 speed and +1 shield, my opponent had his/her monsters as Cruel Sethropod with a melee attack at the 1st position, Ice Pixie with a magic attack & the "Flying" ability at the 2nd position, Kulu Swimhunter with 2 ranged attacks at the 3rd position, Giant Squid with 2 ranged attacks at the 4th position, Sniping Narwhal with 2 ranged attacks & the "Snipe" ability at the 5th position & Angelic Mandarin with a ranged attack at the last position.

Let me talk about monsters that I used in this battle.

No 01: Cursed Windeku (Rare Death Monster)

Cursed Windeku are nightmarish creatures that live in the deepest and darkest woods. They hunt at night, stalking their prey before attacking with their claws, while their thorn-like horns and natural healing ability provide an excellent defense,. They exude a pungent pheromone that reduces the reaction time of their victims, often allowing the Windeku to begin devouring them before they are dead. While these lifeless creatures may appear animalistic, they are highly intelligent. They have heeded the call put forth by the Lord of Darkness. Their thirst for blood is now focused on the Chaos Legion... More.

I've used Cursed Windeku in level 1 with 2 melee attacks, 3 speed, 9 health with "Thorns" ability and it needs 6 mana.

No 02: Carrion Shade (COMMON Death Monster)

A carrion shade is a dark-winged bird that feeds off of the dead bodies of animals and people. They often flock to battlefields and dangerous parts of the wilderness where there are sure to be corpses. They travel in small groups and have no natural predators. Most people fear the carrion shades, though. For to see a group following you is to know your life is in danger. Tales whispered by the elder wise women claim that if you see a single carrion shade perched outside your home, then someone you love will die that night... More.

I've used Carrion Shade in level 1 with 1 melee attack, 2 speed, 2 health and it needs 6 mana.

No 03: Life Sapper (RARE Death Monster)

Life sappers are in between life and death. One side of their body is ghostly while the other is alive and well. They are neither fully living nor dead. They feed off the energies around them, and simply being within view of a Life Sapper will make you feel sick and weak. They siphon energy from their victims, slowly weakening and sickening them while simultaneously healing themselves..... Lore.

I used Life Sapper in level 1 with 1 magic attack, 2 speeds, 2 health with the "Life Leech" ability and it needs 3 mana to play.

No 04: DEATH ELEMENTAL (RARE Death Monster)

I don't use this monster so often because of its low powers and cause I already have better options but I think, with proper strategy, this monster can be a great asset, especially in the little league ruleset. Having the"Snipe" ability unlocked at the first level, this monster can be a nice supporter for the team with its magic attack. Its "Snipe" ability helps it to target enemy monsters with ranged, magic, or no attack that is not in the first position. which unlocks at level 1 with 1 card.

I've used Death Elemental in level 1 with 1 magic attack, 3 speed, 2 health with "Snipe" ability and it needs 3 mana to play.

No 05: Magi Necrosi (EPIC Death Monster)

Four hundred years before the first rift opened, the first whispers of chaos brought dark beasts under a blood moon to the Tower of Azdurj. Creatures of nightmare began hunting by night, lurking the valleys and crawling on the wind. In desperation, the acolytes of Azdurj sought forbidden tomes, long sealed beneath their tower. By the candlelight of hidden recesses within their tower's crypt, the first Necrosi were born. Forged to battle the spawn of Chaos, these bounty hunters are eager to take up the fight... Lore.

I've used Magi Necrosi in level 1 with 2 magic attacks, 4 speed, 4 health with "Snipe & Camouflage" abilities and it needs 6 mana to play.

No 06: Soul Strangler (RARE Death Monster)

Before the chaos gate opened, the towered city of Darkholde was peaceful and quiet. Situated in the cold, Blackworth mountain range, it was presided over by a long-standing noble family and governed by Baron Kutziq Neculai. If the citizens knew the truth about their governor, then maybe they wouldn’t have been so loyal, but the Baron’s tastes were sated with great restraint and he truly did care for them, taking only what he must and never more than he had to. For Kutziq was a vampire, a race as ancient as the stones they’d used to build the city. A man who loved his people in many ways, including their unique flavour... Lore.

I've used Soul Strangler in level 1 with 2 ranged attacks, 2 speed, 2 health and it needs 3 mana to play.

For the special buff of my summoner, 5 opponent monsters lost 1 health each and every magic opponent monster with more than 1 magic attack should've lost 1 magic attack each but the opponent team didn't use any magic attacker so that buff was a total waste. And for the special buff of the opponent's summoner, all the opponent monsters got +1 speed and +1 shield each.

Then... for being the most speed holder, my Magi Necrosi started the battle with the first attack and killed the opponent's Ice Pixie for good with the starting shot, then my Death Elemental attacked and killed 1 health of the opponent's Kulu Swimhunter. Then the opponent's Angelic Mandarin attacked and killed 1 health of my Cursed Windeku. Then the opponent's Kulu Swimhunter attacked and killed 2 more health of my Cursed Windeku. The opponent's Sniping Narwhal then attacked and killed my Life Sapper for good. Then my Cursed Windeku attacked and destroyed 2 shields of the opponent's Cruel Sethropod. Then my Soul Strangler attacked and destroyed the remaining shields of the opponent's Cruel Sethropod. Then the opponent's Giant Squid attacked and killed 2 health of my Cursed Windeku. And the opponent's Cruel Sethropod then attacked and killed 1 health of my Cursed Windeku and for having the "Thorns" ability, my Cursed Windeku attacked and killed 2 health of the opponent's Cruel Sethropod.
