Splinterlands Battle | Grund.

Grund ^{(EPIC Earth Monster).}

Grund has spent his entire life in the lowlands of Praetoria and has grown to love the land and its people. First introduced to the lore of battle as a hatchling, he has studied it ever since with enthusiasm. When he became a juvenile his hands found steel, an old rusting sword abandoned and forgotten in the swamp by some intrepid explorer. Before long it became an extension of himself as he applied all he had learnt, quickly mastering blade work. From then on, he became obsessed with the art of armed combat and he practised with any weapons he could get his hands on... Lore.

A Brief Info About The Battle

The battle mana cap was 30 with the "Standard" rule where I've used the earth splinter and my opponent used the water splinter against me.

My Lineup.

After selecting Obsidian as the summoner, I had Grund with 3 melee attacks & the "Double Strike" ability at the 1^st position, Khmer Princess with a magic attack at the 2^nd position, Elven Mystic with a magic attack at the 3^rd position, Goblin Psychic with 2 magic attacks and the "Tank Heal" ability at the 4^th position, Wood Nymph with a magic attack & the "Tank Heal" ability at the 5^th position & Furious Chicken at the last position. Selecting 2 monsters with the "Tank Heal" ability was not a coincidence and it was my choice so that my Grund gets some extra heal while facing the opponent from the first position.

And my opponent had his/her cards as Diemonshark with 2 melee attacks & the "Trample" ability at the 1^st position, Ice Pixie with a magic attack & the "Flying" ability at the 2^nd position, Merdaali Guardian with the "Tank Heal" ability at the 3^rd position, River Nymph with a magic attack & the "Cleanse" ability at the 4^th position, Scavo Hireling with the "Repair" ability at the 5^th position & Deeplurker with 3 melee attacks & the "Opportunity" ability at the last position.

For the special buff of my summoner, all of my magic monsters got +1 magic attacks each. And for the special buff of my opponent's summoner, all the opponent monsters got +1 shield and +1 speed each.

Then... for being the most speed holder, my opponent's Diemonshark started the battle with the first attack and killed 2 health of my Grund with the starting shot, and then the opponent's Ice Pixie and River Nymph one after another attacked and killed 2 more health of my Grund. Then my Grund attacked the opponent's Diemonshark TWICE for having the "Double Strike" ability and destroyed 3 shields with one shot and missed another one. Then the opponent's Deeplurker attacked and grilled my chicken. Then the opponent's Scavo Hireling repaired 2 shields of the opponent's Diemonshark for having the "Repair" ability. Then my Elven Mystic and Khmer Princess one after another attacked and killed a total of 4 health of the opponent's Diemonshark. Then my Wood Nymph first healed my Grund with 3 health and then attacked and killed 2 health of the opponent's Diemonshark out of 3. Then my Goblin Psychic healed 1 more health of my Grund which made my Grund have full health and then my Goblin Psychic attacked and killed the opponent's Diemonshark for good and the opponent's Ice Pixie then came forward to the first position.

There came a new round where the opponent's Ice Pixie and River Nymph one after another attacked and killed 2 health of my Grund. Then my Grund attacked the opponent's Ice Pixie Twice and after destroying the shield, killed the opponent monster for good and the opponent's Merdaali Guardian then came forward to the first position. Then the opponent's Deeplurker attacked and killed my Khmer Princess for good. My Elven Mystic then attacked and killed 2 health of the opponent's Merdaali Guarddian. Then after healing 2 health of my Grund, my Goblin Psychic attacked and killed the opponent's Merdaali Guardian for good and the opponent's River Nymph then came forward to the first position. Then my Wood Nymph attacked and killed w health of the opponent's River Nymph.

There came another new round where the opponent's River Nymph first attacked and 1 health of my Grund. Then my Grund attacked the opponent's River Nymph Twice and after destroying the shield, killed the opponent monster for good and the opponent's Scavo Hireling then came forward to the first position. The opponent's Deeplurker then attacked and killed my Wood Nymph for good. Then my Elven Mystic attacked and killed the opponent's Scavo Hireling for good and the opponent's only monster Deeplurker came forward to the first position. Then after healing 1 health of my Grund, my Goblin Psychic attacked and killed 3 health of the opponent's Deeplurker. There came the final round then where my Grund attacked the opponent's only monster Deeplurker TWICE and after destroying the shield, killed the opponent's last monster for good and the opponent team had to leave the battlefield.

The battle finished in round 4 while my team had 3 monsters alive. All my monsters did great on the battlefield.
