Lava Spider ^{(COMMON Fire Monster)}

Few explorers dare to go deep within the volcanoes of the world. Tales are told of great spiders that weave threads of fire and trap their enemies in webs of flame. An inescapable and painful death. When the Chaos Legion entered the Splinterlands through the great volcano in the center of Praetoria, they saw the lava spiders and used them to their advantage. Transporting these spiders into areas that need defense is a win-win for both groups. For the Chaos Legion, it is an easy barrier to ward off unwanted visitors. And for the lava spiders, they get free meals from the curious, the foolish, and the unwary adventurers that seek to strike at the Chaos Legion... Lore.

A Brief Info About The Battle

The battle mana cap was 29 with the "Standard" ruleset where I've used the fire splinter and my opponent used the earth splinter against me.

After selecting Tarsa as the summoner, I had Elven Defender with 2 melee attacks at the 1^st position, Radiated Brute with 2 melee attacks & the "Reach" ability at the 2^nd position, Tenyii Striker with 2 melee attacks & the "Sneak" ability at the 3^rd position, Lava Spider with a ranged attack & "Snipe" ability at the 4^th position, Scavo Firebolt with 2 ranged attacks at the 5^th position & Furious Chicken at the last position.

And my opponent had his/her cards as Unicorn Mustang with 3 melee attacks & the "Void" ability at the 1^st position, Elven Mystic with a magic attack at the 2^nd position, Mantoid with 2 ranged attacks at the 3^rd position, Goblin Chariot with 2 ranged attacks at the 4^th position & Khmer Princess with a magic attack at the last position.

No 01: ELVEN DEFENDER ^{(Common Neutral Monster)}

You might remember many characters from many video games after seeing this character if you're a gamer from your childhood. Or maybe I'm wrong remembering a lot of game characters with a big sword and screaming. This is a mighty melee attacker from the neutral splinter that offers nice protection to its team. I like to have him at the front while tiny monsters attacks from the back.

I've used ELVEN DEFENDER in level 1 with 2 melee attacks, 2 speed, 3 shields & 8 health without any ability and it needs 8 mana.

No 02: Radiated Brute ^{(COMMON Fire Monster)}

The spreading blight on the continent of Praetoria twisted both the land and its people. Plants and animals were the first to become corrupted. Fungus sprouted from vegetation and gave them sentience. Animals grew extra limbs, heads, and grew to extraordinary sizes. Then the people fell ill. Some thought it was from the plague brought about by Doctor Blight. Others thought perhaps it was from the poisonous gases that seeped from the fissures near the volcano...Lore

No 03: Tenyii Striker ^{(RARE Fire Monster)}

No 05: Scavo Firebolt ^{(RARE Fire Monster)}

Living within the Realm of Silence, the mole-like race of Scavo were affected by the toxic gas from the Mountain of Ash. They became highly intelligent and worked diligently to protect their home from the blight. Scavo Firebolts were particularly changed by their proximity to the magma, developing the ability to summon and launch bolts of fire from their palms. They defend their home by launching these fire bolts from great distances. Approaching enemies don't even realize the danger until fire begins to rain from above. Those that are incapacitated are especially vulnerable...Lore

I've used Scavo Firebolt in level 1 with 2 ranged attacks, 2 speed & 4 health, and it needs 4 mana to battle.

No 06: Furious Chicken ^{(Rare Neutral Monster)}

This is the card that I use when there's a slot left but no mana left. I mean its service is great for free I suppose. Right now... I can't imagine playing a match without this card.
It's like the chicken that lays the golden egg. It provides great support with its counterattack. With 0 mana... it's just amazing.

My Furious Chicken is in level 1 with 1 speed, 1 health and It needs 0 mana to play.

For the special buff of my summoner, 3 of my melee monsters got +1 melee attack each and all my monsters got +1 health each. Then for the special buff of my opponent's summoner, one of my monsters lost 2 shields who had 3 shields before.

Then... for being the most speed holder, the opponent's Unicorn Mustang started the battle with the first attack and destroyed the remaining shield of my Elven Defender with the starting shot, then the opponent's Goblin Chariot attacked and killed 2 health of my Elven Defender. Then the opponent's Elven Mystic attacked and killed 1 more health of my Elven Defender. My Scavo Firebolt then made the first turn from my side and killed 2 health of the opponent's Unicorn Mustang. Then after the opponent's Mantoid attacked and killed 2 health of my Lava Spider, my Lava Spider then attacked and killed 1 health of the opponent's Elven Mystic. Then my Tenyii Striker threw its big melee attacks towards the opponent's Khmer Princess and the opponent monster had to leave the battlefield. And then my Radiated Brute attacked and killed 3 health of the opponent's Unicorn Mustang out of 5.

There came a new round where the opponent's Unicorn Mustang attacked and killed 3 health of my Elven Defender out of 6 with a single shot. Then the opponent's Goblin Chariot attacked and killed 2 more health of my Elven Defender out of 3 which means my defender had only 1 health left and the next shot might be the last for him. Yeah, the opponent's Elven Mystic took the turn next and killed my Elven Defender for good, and then my Radiated Brute came forward to the first position. Then my Scavo Firebolt attacked and killed the opponent's Unicorn Mustang for good and the opponent's Elven Mystic then came forward to the first position. The opponent's Mantoid then attacked and killed 2 health of my Lava Spider out of 3 and my Lava Spider returned the favor by killing 1 health of the opponent's Mantoid. Then my Tenyii Striker sneaky attacked and killed the opponent's Goblin Chariot for good and now the opponent had only 2 monsters left while I had 5 monsters with good stats. Well, my Radiated Brute then made the next turn and threw its big 3 melee attacks towards the opponent's Elven Mystic and the opponent monster had to leave the battlefield and the opponent's Mantoid then came forward to the first position and became unable to attack for being a ranged attacker at the first position. The current round also came to an ending at that point.

There came another new round which is the final round and gonna be the smallest round of this battle. The opponent had only 1 monster left and that's without having any attack power for being a ranged attacker at the first position while I had 5 monsters alive and 4 of em had the attacking abilities and it seemed every monster of my team now is looking for the opportunity to be the killer of the last opponent monster. Well, the current round started and my Scavo Firebolt took the first turn and killed 2 health of the opponent's last monster Mandoit out of 4. So, now the opponent monster had only 2 health left. My Lava Spider then attacked and killed 1 more health of the opponent's Mnatoid out of 2. So, now the opponent monster had only 1 health left. My Tenyii Striker and Radiated Brute are on the way to take their turn and as my Tenyii Striker had the higher speed among those two, so my Tenyii Striker took the turn and threw its big 3 melee attacks towards the opponent's last monster Mantoid and the opponent team had to leave the battlefield.

The battle finished in round 3 while my team had 5 monsters alive. All my monsters did great on the battlefield.
