Hello everyone, its another week and this is my submission for the splinterlands art contest. I chose a legendary card in the dragon unit and she's such a cool character.

Larissa is one of the most powerful living creatures because she learned the secrets of Dragon magic. She was initially an artist who painted astounding portraits for the rich but she later discovered that her hands could do more than artwork, it had great power that could change her life for the better. Interesting story....

PROCESS

When it comes to magical things, a lot of people choose the colour purple and it fits, whenever I think of magic or witches, purple comes to mind and this card has lots of it. I was really confused and didn't know what card to pick and eventually settled for this one, normally I choose cards for my fanart days before I paint.

I started with a simple sketch and laid all the flat colours for her hair, skin, clothes before painting her facial features...

The rendering took a little while because I used a different painting approach, I wanted her skin to look airbrushed without those harsh lines I usually paint and it looked good, I intend to keep practicing this style. I then began to paint the silver on her clothes and added more details, strands and colours to her hair. I painted her horn and earrings and detailed it as I continued. I honestly love the look in her eyes and clothing style.

This is the final work after adding little details and fixing other mistakes I found, I hope you like it...
