Thorns ability is a outstanding skill against melee creatures and the Venari Knifer can make the most of him! I always like to say some word about earth splinter creatures because this element is one of my favorites, i got excited when i have read about this card, so let's share this awesome battle!

♦ VENARI KNIFER - LORE ♦

• CARD OVERVIEW •

Venari knifer came with the Thorns ability at lvl 1 and that makes him an excellent card for some situations, principally when a rule that prioritize melee attackers like melee mayhem or fog of war because players tends to use cards that directly hit the first position monster, also he have a good health and speed and that make him a good tank in many situations.

SKILLS

Backfire: If a monster missies this monster with an attack, the attacker takes 2 damage.

Thorns: When hit with a melee attack, does damage back to attacker.

For this match i have used a lvl 3 Venari Knifer, at this this lvl he has thorns and his speed and attack has a point more, he loss 1 health but still a pretty good tank with this amount of life. The idea is to use him as a reflector of melee damage.

• PRICE ANALYSIS •

The BCX price of Venari haven't changed so much because she isn't a must have card, she is situational and earth composition may have another cards to first consider instead of Venari Knifer. Anyway, the gold foil price tends to go up and ins increasing the value.

• BATTLE RULESET •

• MY LINEUP •

For this match i was expecting that my enemy was about to use the fire sneak comp, so for that i have prepared a backline capable of sustain the income damage while my magic card deal enough damage and kill the enemies monsters.

Venari has a huge speed and also Thorns, so he is a good option to deal with melee attackers because she can even evade or damage back with thorns. I have chosen also 2 healers in order to give more sustain to Venari Knifer, those 2 healers also has a decent magic damage. And that was enough to kill my enemy sice fire comps hasn't advantage against magic damage.

Fungus Fiend and Epona did the job of preventing my enemy reach my magical monsters, also with the Armored Up rule they had to face my shield and this didn't go well for him.
